Just returned from another wonderful weekend at the Hotel Collingwood with my wife family and young granddaughter. The owners and staff can't do enough for you to make your stay enjoyable and the food is excellent. Our rooms were clean and the entertainment excellent. Great parking facilities and within walking distance to beach, town, gardens and amenities. Looking forward to...

Stayed overnight on business and got a lot more for my money than I would expect including a night of in house entertainment courtesy of the regular singer they have on. Good food and service made for a pleasant stay. My room was a little dated but clean and with more towels and biscuits than you would get in other...

Stayed for a week in Room 109 again and was not disappointed. Food was of the highest standard with service from all staff members a credit to the both owner and establishment. Used the gym every day, hard work but everything there to assist. Entertainment on at night was also first class and accommodated all those present old and young....

I can confirm it is up a steep hill and the room was terribly hot, but you can take the hill slowly and they provide a fan for the room. It's worth the walk as they seem to think of everything. The steam room was the only thing that I thought needed some attention cleanliness wise as everything else was...

Just spent the last 3 days at this hotel, great hotel with friendly staff, ideal for short walk to the beach. Room was very clean, warm and comfortable. Food very good for price. Parking free at rear so not too far to walk. Would definitely recommend and would return.

This was our first visit to an hotel chosen from a small advert in a Sunday newspaper. We stayed from Monday to Friday and could not be more pleased. Our room was bay-fronted, of a good size with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and a good bathroom. The décor was immaculate and this was true throughout the hotel. Food...

I stayed at The Hotel Collingwood for business and was working with my counterparts in the Bournemouth Area. The Hotel Collingwood was recommended to be by our office. The room was a good size and the staff were very friendly. The parking wasn't too bad but could of been better. A nice comfortable stay.

Good location, free parking, quick and easy check-in, room was a reasonable size. For dinner we had the set menu, good value for £20. The bar was very quiet in the evening although they did have an entertainer (one man and his organ). We thought the games room was a great facility. Only minor quibble was my wife found the...
