This hotel is in an excellent location, easily walkable to the centre of Bournemouth, and the views are lovely from the little front garden. Parking was difficult, but we were allowed to leave our vehicle in a place that was not strictly a parking spot. The room was perfectly good, we were upgraded to a sea view, and you could...

Paid £307 for cottage, B&B plus parking for one night. As a Marriott Rewards member I can honestly say this is the probably the most diabolically branded hotel in their ownership. Cottage was grubby - carpet was soiled and old, walls and panels in desperate need of decoration, bathroom distinctly outdated and smelt of damp and had seen better days....

If, on the other hand, youˋre looking for a fantastic place to stay and would rather have something special than a bog-standard hotel experience then I canˋt recommend this hotel highly enough. Before we came I read the reviews and they were not all good.Yes, the hotel is in need of refurbishment, some corners are rubbed, and it could do with...

As a valentines treat I splashed out on a night away. Just for the wife mind; a night out with her sisters for her and a bit of peace and quiet with 100% of the TV remote for me. Perfect all round. The booking was nice and easy, with Becky from front desk meeting my many demands and questions via...

We were told there was some minor work taking place but when we got there the changes being made were major & permanent. The bar & restaurant had lovely views across the sea which is part of why we booked it but the whole of this area has now been closed off & is being rebuilt as a terrace. The...

Undergoing refurbishment so absolutely no atmosphere. The hotel is old fashioned and scruffy - sink was stained around plug hole and door to bathroom grubby.Mini bar not stocked.Staff at breakfast constantly leant across your face to remove crockery and many tables complained that their tables were cleared of their drinks whilst at the buffet. Staff need to be more observant and...

We spent the weekend at this hotel. It is currently under going a much needed refurbishment. The hotel is generally very dated but it is clean at least. We arrived on the Friday afternoon. Reception could of been a bit more helpful - no offer of concierge helping with luggage etc. The room itself was a good size with a...

We have just returned from a three night stay at this hotel. A quick break with family to celebrate my birthday. I was a little anxious as I had read some not so good reviews but was delighted with our room (421). I admit the decor is a little tired but was clean and very spacious. When we arrived the...
