This hotel is not what the advertising portrays and I'm surprised by Trip advisor reviews which must have had a totally different experience to the one we had. If having some chocolates in three jars in reception and a bowl with six truffles in the room constitutes a 'chocolate boutique hotel' then I stand to be corrected. It seems that...

I rarely respond to reviews, and in this case I think you can all read for yourselves hundreds of great reviews and then this one. Is it us? or could it be her????? Room 8 - the twin room - is the only one not refurbished but will be soon. It is still very nice and clean with a small...

We had a brief one-night stay last week at The Chocolate Box hotel and really wished we could have stayed longer and for pleasure rather than business. The staff were lovely - so helpful and accommodating. You really felt that they genuinely cared about the service they provided. Will definitely be booking again! Thanks Leoni x

Nice, clean and convenient hotel. Staff could not do enough for the guests. The guy who served the breakfasts, which were lovely, was a treat. I would certainly return visit. Could do with a sign over a low ceiling from room 1 to the main corridor as I banged my head whilst concentrating on not tripping on the stairs. (...

Lovely hotel with staff who were more than accomodating. Comfortable room, we stayed in room 11, lovely shower room and very tasty breakfast. Highly recommed this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Leoni, your staff are a credit to you, especially the chap at breakfast this morning. Perfect location for the BIC. Thank you all. Very friendly, great breakfast (the chocolate pancakes are particularly good apparently), rooms comfy & clean. One disappointment was the shower to the top floor room, which would not warm up and kept cutting out - other feedback mentions this but it still seems to be a problem.

Excellent communication with the hotel. Lovely boutique style accommodation, nicely decorated. Situated in a central location within easy walking distance of beach front and BIC. Fantastic breakfast the best we've ever had, beats any of the larger hotels we have stayed in. Parking available too. Will definitely use this hotel whenever we plan to stay in Bournemouth.

We booked this boutique hotel stay to incorporate a concert at BIC. What a fabulous few days we had. Leoni greeted us on arrival and were pleasantly surprised on entering the room. Attention to the little details has definitely not been overlooked and a couple of months down the line these are still very memorable, A* from us. The room...

Stayed for 1 night on the 27th December. Lovely greeting and welcome to the hotel by Flo, excellent customer service. Car park was small but had no problem parking. Check-in was easy and the kids loved the complimentary chocolate buttons, great touch! The hotel was immaculately clean and the decor was very well done. The room was spacious, plenty of...

We arrived on New Year's Eve and stayed two nights. The room was well decorated and had truffles in room. The bathroom was a bit small. The breakfast was excellent- freshly cooked. Flo the general manager makes this place. He was so friendly and helpful. He offered to assist with bags to serving up breakfast. He was always there if...
