Just returned from a weekend at the Savoy. The food was very good especially the buffet breakfast. Staff also very good and friendly. We had a lovely room on the third floor and were not bothered by the work that's going on on that floor. The only gripe was the bathroom had no heating. We have stayed at the Savoy... More

Had a lovely weekend stay. Our rooms were nice and comfortable. There were some problems with the heating in the hotel, but these things happen, and they did get it all sorted. I did feel for the poor reception staff, with everyone complaining about the heating not working, but they were so kind and professional, when they must of felt... More

We arrived on 7th. November expecting a nice stress less break. The weather was miserable and cold. There was a refurb going on in the hotel, so a zone for heating and hot water was isolated to enable work to be done. When we complained we were supplied with two electric oil filled heaters, and was told there was something... More

Staff couldn't do enough to help all very friendly and hard working. Work being done on the hotel made it a little chilly but didn't spoil it at all. Lovely views over the sea. Would love to go back in the summer, sitting on the patio in the sun with a glass of wine, large of course.

We stayed here on a five day Shearings break. Our room was 320 and this looked out over the car park so if you want a sea view you will need to specify this.
