I needed a cheap hotel for 7 hours, changing trains. On arrival my booking hadn't been received, coupled with a porter who did not speak English. On finally checking in, I went to the room; 4 single (incredibly uncomfortable) beds, but no double (I'm 6'6"). The irony being the room was barely big enough for three beds. Curtains didn't close...

Just back from my birthday celebrations in Bournemouth, we booked using awesome weekends and did cocktail making at revolution. I was worried about the hotel from the reviews, yes it's basic but for the money we paid wasn't expecting the ritz! We had two four bed rooms, they have tv, hair dryer, hot showers, tea/coffee so was fine for what...

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the hotel is dated but very clean lovely food and friendly staff. You get what you pay for. Great location close to pubs restaurants shops and beach :-) would highly recommend for anyone looking for budget accommodation.

This hotel was a nightmare from the start. The corridors smelt, huge piles of dirty linen greeted us outside each of the rooms when we arrived. I didn't dare inspect the mattresses too closely, afraid of what I might find.Breakfast was a 'free for all'. People grabbed what they could when it arrived. The whole place was just interested in...

Very dirty breakfast room - stained chairs and table cloths. Wi-fi did not work ( a bit in the lobby, but...

My first complaint is about my booking in. I received confirmation of my booking stating that earliest check in is 14.00. In my experience of hotels, many rooms are available at earlier times. I called into the hotel at 1pm on my check in date to ask if I can check in early, the reply was "no, three pm is...

I am staying here for 2x nights. It has to be said the hotel is a little dated and I agree there are a few damp smells in places. That being said it cost only £35 a night. Room was quite big so space to get ready and hang out, bathroom refurbished With a power(ish) shower, breakfast was a hot...

Horrible! Rooms are dirty and not worth the money! Rooms were damp and stank! Can also hear all neighbours both upstairs and doWn. Website says newly refurbished but has not! Avoid at all costs! Staff were helpful when asked . By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!

Room was tiny, dirty, smelly and carpet was wet. The place was full of students, the tea/coffee facilities were value tea bags! Says it all really. Location was good close to seafront and shops. Their description of the place is NOT genuine. The bar did not open the whole time we were there. Only stayed there one night as a...
