Fairly cozy hotel, would definitely recommend as a good option for this price range. Beware the hotel has no lifts and is spread out on three floors meaning you may need to haul luggage up the creaky stair cases. In fact, the floors all creak a bit as well revealing the age of the building at the best of times...

Stayed November 2016 during the week, which is cheaper... I know Bournemouth really well, so knew the hotel was is a very good location, mixed in with a lot of other hotels. I wasn't expecting a lot because of the very low price. Parking is very limited and tight, but we arrived early afternoon, with the car park already half...

Cheap hotel. Beware, you are not guaranteed a car parking space. 2 out of 4 nights I stayed I was unable to park there, and on-street parking is extremely busy. There is a pay-and-display car park about 8 minutes walk away but it does then add on to your nightly rate. Room smelled of stale cigarettes which was not pleasant...

If your visiting Bournemouth & want a reasonably priced hotel which accepts dogs, near the seafront & all other amenities why not try the travel rest. This is our second visit. The room are clean tidy and well priced. The location is great & the hotel accepts dogs in certain rooms at a modest £10. On this latest occasion we...

Arrived around 6 on a Saturday, parking was non-existent and there is no side street parking nearby so we had to block someone in just to be able to park. The walls are absolutely paper thin, I was woken up at 3am by a drunk girl having phone sex in the corridor which wasn't a pleasant experience! The room is...

Very standard, but clean and warm. Lots of stairs and not sure if there are lifts. Very small bathroom/shower cubicle but it does the job. Free wifi but my phone didn't pick up any, not that it was my main priority. Bed sheets were clean and smelled fresh. Bed was too hard for my liking. Optional breakfast which includes unlimited...

Good price and location. Didn't think about the stairs (was with my elderly mother),check which room when you book. Comfortable space to sleep in,the single beds were better than the double (bit hard for me). Staff fab couldn't fault them, chose not to have breakfast,as a waste as my child or mother doesn't eat much, but price was reasonable. Lovely new bathrooms,can...

Typical beachfront hotel, functional with a great location (you can get to the beach in 5mins or less, just down the hill and we can see the ocean from our window :) Booked a double club room, impressed with spacious bedroom however the bathroom is rather cramped (the door bangs into the sink if opened too wide) and shaving my...

We booked 2 nights here for the marathon festival as we were both running over the weekend. The location is great as its only a short walk to the pier and centre, however do we warned its a steep hill walking back up to the hotel! Parking is very limited but we were lucky and did manage to get a...
