Spent 2 nights here with our 2 young children aged 8 & 2 and we had a fabulous time. Fantastic location near to beach, restaurants & pretty much anything you need. Room was excellent really spacious and cosy! We had a family room and we all loved it. Rooms all equipped with en suite (ours was beautiful) tv, mini fridge,...

We stayed because East Cliff Cottage is pet friendly and had two large dogs that wanted to also enjoy a holiday! We booked a superior room which was a lovely large, airy room. Modern bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower. King size bed which was so incredibly comfortable, and very quiet location too. Breakfast was superb, with full...

We stayed for 2 nights recently, having stayed here last year. The room we had was spacious, and had a superbly comforable bed. The decor in the room and bathroom exceeded what was on offer at nearby more expensive hotels. The breakfast, one of which was gluten free, was excellent. One suggestion ... The exterior and exterior signage could do...

Stayed here for one night whilst we attended a friends wedding in a nearby hotel. Everything about this hotel is all you need and more. Lovely friendly family run establishment, where the owners can't do enough to help make you feel comfortable, the owner even helped us get our bikes out the back of our car. Would recommend this hotel...

Let's get one thing straight this is not your Posh modern day hotel and does not claim to be and is reflected in the tariff. But this is a pet friendly hotel with a friendly and approachable owner, check in time is 3 pm we arrived just after 11am and because our room had been vacant the previous night he...

Thanks for your comments. You are correct regarding the bar, we stock a selection of cans and bottles. Not sure what is misleading about that though ? We say we have a bar, not that we have a manned bar selling draught beers. The reason the young girl checked with me that you had paid, is because we get a...

Booked this hotel on the 6th that weekend so I was chuffed there was availability so late & a very reasonably priced one at that. Andrew was very welcoming. We were instantly hit by the smell of log fires, mm lovely and cosy! Shown up to our room, and on the landing shown a cupboard full of speciality teas and...

Thanks for your lovely comments. I have noted your comments on the radiator - and will include instructions within the Welcome Information which we are re-writing during January. (Incidently, normally the radiators would remain at 'comfortably warm' throughout your stay - controlled by the programmable thermostat - but the batteries had failed, hence why it got too warm - batteries...

Found this hotel on Hotels.com liked the reviews and the prices. I have to say we were not disappointed, from the welcome we received, to our departure this morning. Everything was excellent, in particularly, the comfortable bed and the superbly cooked breakfast. Nothing seemed to be to much trouble. We will definitely return on our next trip to Bournemouth.

Great location, friendly owners, clean, comfy beds, nice cooked breakfast but rooms do get cold. I've no doubt that if we'd asked the owners they would have turned the heating up. Would I go again, definitely. A good 3 star hotel.

Thanks for your kind comments. We do endeavour to keep the building as warm as possible, but you are correct, we will increase the heating if we are advised that a particular guest is cold. (We have a couple of electric heaters which we can use to supplement the central heating radiators, if necessary) We look forward to welcoming you...
