We stayed at The Liston on the 12th of April overnight, we were greeted with a into a warm friendly atmosphere. The downstaires is very in keeping with the age of the building with lovely fireplaces and a tiled hallway.....Then when we entered our room we were suprised how lovely and fresh it was. Plenty of hangers plenty of drawers...

Both my wife and i stayed at this hotel for 2 nights late in March, its a very friendly family run business that in my opinion belies its 2 stars.The location is ideal being close to both public transport and the beach, so absolutely ideal for families. Well done. Wayne and Hilary C

Just returned from a National Coach holiday on Friday 28th March after spending four nights at the Liston Hotel. This hotel was excellent, we had a lovely clean well furnished room and a spotless en suite. The meals were very good and very well organized as you chose your evening meal at breakfast time, and your breakfast during your evening...

We have just returned 28th March after spending 5days at The Liston ,we had a lovely time ,the room was perfect ,dining room was a great size not big but ideal ,the food was 1st class and how the menus were done was great -you chose your meals the day before ( liked that ). Formerly of Bournemouth we move 8 years ago and still reminisce about Steve's wonderful food which we enjoyed on many occasions. I have stayed there twice in the summer. When we first entered we suddenly woke up in this old house..kind of Family Adams but clean. We got the room went up and we already had problems with the door. We could see basically that the place just have been efurb..not to the highest standard but judging by the uk weather...

Had a fantastic New Year at The Liston Hotel. Went on a 4 day trip with National Coaches. From the minute the coach arrived the owner came onto the coach to welcome us. Stayed here 1 night while visiting a relative - lovely homely feel to the place - very accommodating and friendly service good value full breakfast for £5 - recommend a meal at the Inhouse restaurant Gilbeys - excellent food, very tasy and well presented - definitely stay/eat here again when visiting my aunt many thanks
