What a find, a great Bed & Breakfast. On arrival given a warm welcome. We stayed in room five, a large room overlooking the main road but fully double glazed so no trouble with traffic noise. Room fully equipped every beverage you could require, even a large packet a biscuits to enjoy. Room of high quality and furnished with everything...

Derek and Wendy are lovely, extremely accommodating and very helpful. The place and room was immaculate. Huge breakfast choice, we've never seen so many different jams and cereals!! Gorgeous breakfasts ranging from a classic English, continental and kipper or salmon options. Definitely worth another visit and I would recommend it highly as a place to stay.

Took a last minute decision to visit the Great Dorset Steam Fair and booked into the Guesthouse. Can only 100% agree with the previous comments on this excellent establishment. Warm welcome from the owners and only a 10 minute walk into town. Wonderful cooked breakfasts with a fantastic selection of teas, fresh fruit salads, jams and sauces in fact I...

After looking at the website, I booked in for two nights and was not disappointed. Derek and Wendy are very friendly and welcoming and extremely efficient, when it comes to booking. My single room (No.7) with a private bathroom was very spacious and extremely comfortable. The breakfast on the website more than came up to expectations. The range of options...

We were originally looking for a mini break on the coast, but it being August, prices were high and availability low. Looking inland a bit we found Aquila Heights which turned out to be perfect. The house is spotless, our room was enormous (room 5) and had everything you could possibly need, hairdryer, impressive array of toiletries, bottled water, fan,...

I stayed 2 nights while my husband was in hospital. The property was close to the hospital and town. It is a lovely home with good food and helpful hosts. The area is residential and felt very safe for a single visitor.

Nothing seems too much trouble at the Aquila Heights. Our room, although small, was bright and sunny and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the amazing choice of shampoos and shower gels in the bathroom almost equalled the huge choice of cooked breakfasts, jams and marmalades. We brought bikes with us - it is only a 5 minute cycle...

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at Aquila Heights in Dorchester and both myself and my husband have had a very pleasant stay, having also stayed here exactly a year ago. Despite new ownership, Derek and Wendy have been super hosts and we both feel that they have done very well for, perhaps, the first few months...

Having a lovely stay here. Hosts are very helpful and welcoming. The choice of breakfast is amazing with lovely fresh fruits available every day. Room is very clean and pkeasant, even though it was warm when we arrived we were immediately offered a fan to use which was put to good use over the first few days, so we were...

Wendy and Derek were very welcoming even though we booked a different room for each night of our stay due to the place being busy. This meant two lots of bed changes for them, but they didn't bat an eyelid and even moved our bags for us whist we were out. The rooms were good and clean, but a little...
