Just had a lovely evening meal in Motcombe. As usual we had good food and friendly service. It was grill night and the steaks were good. Those who had desserts were treated to really elegant, tasty creations. Most impressed by these

Stayed at the Coppleridge for a long weekend recently with friends. Very friendly welcome from our host and staff on arrival, tidy and spacious bedrooms in a lovely setting. Tea & coffee making facilities and home made flapjacks & shortbread accompanied our tea and coffee each day. But the star of the show at the Coppleridge is the food. We...

We have just returned from our second visit to the Coppleridge Inn at Motcombe.Yet again we were delighted with both our room(no. 3) and the food we were served while we were there. The room was very comfortable and there was lashings of hot water for my daily bath (I don't do showers!!) and plenty of soft towels. Wifi was...

Despite booking four rooms some months ago we did not get what we booked and our room was very grubby cobwebs dust grubby doors etc. I would definitely recommend the restaurant and bar our evening meal was first class as was breakfast, the service faultless. 10 out of 10 for the restaurant and service, would not stay there again though.

By far, our favourite place we stayed at during a road trip through the English countryside. VERY spacious, clean rooms, and friendly helpful staff. Amazing view and quiet. Food at the bar was good! Very nice walks around the country side. Close to Stonehenge and other historic places - old Wardour castle, Nunny castle as well.

Stayed for Saturday night and Sunday lunch with friends and dogs. Staff were all friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The room was spacious and pleasant but ever so slightly off the mark. The kettle was set on a floor level window ledge, which was an odd place to make tea. The kettle was also covered in dust so...

We visited on a Thursday - Grill Night. We both had the ribeye steak. Seemed good value at £13.50 including a drink. Unfortunately it was a disappointment. The steaks were very chewy and had no taste at all. We have had better from Tesco at £2.82 per steak. The sauces were OK but I'm not sure they were worth the...

Surrounded by some of Dorset's finest countryside, the Coppleridge Inn sits in its own 15 acres of woodland and meadows with views over Blackmoore Vale and is a great place to base yourself for a weekend or longer stay. The Coppleridge is a pub, with a fine restaurant, well actually four rooms with their own log fires, offering relaxed dining...

The Coppleridge is spacious pub in the back lanes of Dorset, nice pub with separate dinning room. I had the roast lamb, came with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, French beans and red cabbage, the meal was hot and well cooked. For desert I had Black current cheesecake with cream. Nice friendly pub with good service

Rather than face 2-3 more hours of a very foggy A303 we were fortunate in coming across this wonderful place to stop for the night and continue our journey the next day. Great room, slept well, great breakfast, thoroughly recommend and happy to stay there again. Dog-friendly +++
