Really friendly and helpfull staff, good services and nice breakfast. The rooms are not that big and a bit warm (due to the lack of an AC), but were fine for our stay. All in all a really pleasant stay.

We just had to spread the word about what a gorgeous place the Cavalaire is to stay. If you go to Brighton, you must stay in this B&B. The breakfast is more than you could eat and perfectly cooked. The room was spotless and shower was gleaming! The owners, Derek and Gary are such lovely people who look after you...

The best breakfast I ever had in the UK. Great food, great background music choice. Rooms are perfect and the staff pay attention to every single small detail. I can say the price is more than worth it. Thank you so much, looking forward to come there again. Edo

I was so happy to find this room--we decided to go to Brighton on a whim and only booked the room the day before. We stayed in the four-poster room which was immaculate. I'm budget-conscious like everyone but I am very particular about where I stay--I can't stand tired or dingy hotels. It was looking like a lost cause to...

Had a lovely stay here, Derek and Garry really welcoming and could not have been more helpful. Location of the hotel is great, easy walk to town centre, Kemp Town, beach and buses pass within yards. Excellent.

I can't add to what's been said. Don't waste any more time looking for other places on Tripadvisor, just book now. Oh OK I will add. Booked as last minute idea to spend Sat/Sun in Brighton. Original choice well rated but earplugs supplied due to nearby night club. I don't think so! Then found The Cavalaire, NE edge of Kemp...

We made a roundtrip in South-England and stayed in several, predominant comfortable hotels. The last four days we spent in Brighton in the Cavalaire Hotel. And the Cavalaire was the best of all the hotels: friendly and very courteous hosts, a tasteful arranged room and an excellent breakfast.

Derek and Garry are the most wonderful hosts you could wish for and the Cavalaire was a joy to stay in. The welcome we got when we arrived was just lovely as was everything about the place. The breakfast was outstanding, the room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The location was excellent and we were given lots of info...

Well what can I say …… Firstly WOW!!!, so we arrived on the Tuesday and, was greeted as we were long lost friends with a rather lovely cup of coffee. Our bags were carried in from the car to the B&B which was lovely, and the first time this was done through pure politeness and kindness, and not for a...
