Looks a bit dated from the outside and it is on the inside. Reception staff were very good. Room was basic, bathroom sufficient for a one night stay. Sleeping was a nightmare, My room overlooked the beach and the sound of the sea was relaxing until youngsters turned up with a speaker the size of a wardrobe and played music...

the hotel is dated but clean only one small lift which was a nightmare to get. The staff are friendly and polite. our room was small but clean there was not a lot of storage space to put clothes 1 wardrobe with 2 drawers. the bathroom was small. our room was on the front on the hotel. In the earlier...

Really disappointed by this hotel. We had a room downstairs from reception and as soon as we headed towards it there was a damp smell. We booked a superior double room. There was nothing superior about it. It was tiny and although it looked clean I didn't feel comfortable walking barefoot on either the en suite floor or the carpet....

Didn't know what to expect with all the reviews.. all I can say is we had a fantastic time, never been to Brighton before but we love it, the hotel is a lovely old building, and yes it needs a bit of tlc in places. We booked last minute we ended up on the top floor with no view except...

Booked here for a one week stay...big mistake!! They had numerous coaches staying all on some sort of buy one drink get one free. There were queues everywhere and when we decided one night not to queue as we didn't have this voucher and were not on this deal...we got shouted at and abused. So did the barman that served...

I was staying at the Royal Albion Hotel for four nights last week (30th Jan-3rd Feb) on a half board coach break with my wife. On arrival, the hotel looked very big and grand. We were greeted politely and cheerfully and even received porterage. Having booked this break early with the coach firm perhaps we were fortunate to be given...

Just come back from a stag do, great location just a couple of things to whine about. Nobody in the desk knew what an iron was when I asked if they had one, secondly the lady at the bar didn't speak English so getting a drink was a pointing exercise. Hotel is in a good location but it looks like...

Got fantastic price from National holidays for Mon/Fri break. Room was fine, food good Andy the driver was the best! Entertainment excellent. Only downside was the school dinner scrum which I did not enjoy, but hey that is nitpicking. At this price it is ridiculous to criticise. Have fun and chill! Don't have daft expectations.

Staff were pleasant enough, but this did not compensate for the tired decor and lack of cleanliness. Their were blood stains on the net curtains and the room felt as though it needed a deep clean. If you just want somewhere to put your head down and not too worried about aesthetics then the central location is handy.
