Needed a last minute overnight stay and chose Kings at random - very impressed with cost (reasonable), cleanliness of room - high - and amazing service and helpfulness of staff - breakfast was extra but again great quality nd reasonable price with staff happy to help with 'complicated' order from fussy daughter. Highly recommended - we will be using the...

Have just returned from a wonderful weekend away to Brighton for my Other Half's Birthday. Booked into the Kings Hotel and wasn't disappointed , Really friendly welcome from the pleasant lady on the reception desk. Good decent sized room with a nice comfy bed and a decent sized bathroom. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The cleanest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in and I stayed in a lot. Breakfast OK for what one is paying for. Very nice staff. Would always look to say there if available

Stayed here for 1 night which cost £81. I was told this didn't include breakfast and we would have to pay an extra £6.50 per person if we wanted this. We arrived early and I was told the money had already been blocked and then they took the money out when we arrived.. This is strange as you wouldn't usually...

The Kings is very similar to many of the hotels along Brighton seafront - the rooms are bigger than at the Brighton and quieter than at the Queens, the WiFi isn't as good, but better than at the Albion. Apart from that there is very little to choice between them, I paid £41.65 / a night including a good table...

Some nice rooms but also some really awful. Sea view room really nice with great views. Good choice of breakfast but Traditional English breakfast consistently served cold and I do mean cold. Although arriving just after breakfast had started the breakfasts looked like they had been prepared about 30 minutes earlier. Location is good.

My partner and I have stayed here on almost every trip we've done to Brighton, I can honestly say it has always been a pleasure. We park just around the corner at the Regents Square car park, which, for the area, is very reasonable at £18 for 24 hours. You do have to persevere with the queue into the car...

Stayed here for one night on a last minute deal around the Christmas holidays. The room was comfortable although perhaps looking a bit worn in places – old peeling paint work in the shower. We requested an iron and board so my partner could ease the suitcase creases out of his evening shirt – put to no avail! Really old...

Could do with stocking up on the toasties as my only bad point. however i did unfortunately get sick whilst away and the breakfast waiter John was so accommodating. reading past reviews he is clearly a real asset to the hotel. i hope he gets a good bonus...

Just spent a lovely weekend at this hotel. Check in was quick with helpful reception staff. Room was adequate for our 2 night stay. Noise levels could be a problem for some as walls very thin in bedrooms & slamming of doors. Breakfast was good with excellent service from John who was so helpful and kind to us and couldn't...

Good afternoon Julie and Ricky. Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to write your kind review. Apologies for the noise levels during your stay, we would be looking into better sound proofing in the future. As for John, well, he is mentioned in 90% of the reviews, that's why we lock him in the basement...
