Stayed here in August 2020 just for one night and it was perfect. The location is bang opposite the British Airways viewing tower and perfect for the beach, the shops, restaurants and lovely 40 minute walk along the coast from the Marina.

The room we stayed in (Regency) was a very good size with a huge bed and an amazing Jacuzzi bath, though doesn’t have a sea view. There is a nice terrace and although the bar/restaurant was closed (presumably Covid related) we were able to use our own food/drink to enjoy it.

The staff were great and the price was very reasonable considering the prices of other seafront hotels. The only downside is no parking so we rented a space on someone’s drive a couple of miles away as the paid car parks are so expensive in Brighton.

I would thoroughly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here as a late valentines treat for me and my partner, upon arrival on which was seemingly a quiet night we were greeted by the very friendly and welcoming chap on reception who upgraded us to a superior suite for free...absolutely amazing service
We stayed in the Brighton rock room which has amazing sea views and an even more amazing HUGE jacuzzi bath...the room itself is a little slanted but I honestly believe this adds to the quirky charming style of this hotel.
Breakfast (included with our room) is served at Smokey’s just underneath the hotel big portions of some very good quality food...make sure to take your appetite
All in all we absolutely loved this hotel and our only negative is that we couldn’t stay longer!!
Will definitely be staying again in the near future

Our third visit to the Granville, this time in the balcony room. As always very pleased with the hotel, breakfast down in Smokey’s is fab, freshly cooked to order and they don’t skimp on the portions. We also ate here on our first night, our tip make sure you’re hungry when you come here to eat. Staff are all very friendly, will definitely return again. Hotel is very clean and the jacuzzi bath is heavenly!

I have stayed at this hotel over 20 times but, my last stay I have to say,I was very dissatisfied.I booked through booking.com and was led to believe for the second time I was getting the room I booked through booking.com but when I arrived at the early hours of the morning due to my boiler breaking I was given a different room and was treated un fairly by the night staff I had forgotten my bank card and was told the hotel accepted Apple Pay so after standing there trying for half an hour and being told it must not be working I drove home to pick up my card and returned charged full price and given the wrong room then another wrong room with no towels. In the morning I went to speak to the manager who was very rude told me that they didn’t know what my problem was I got a room with a jacuzzi bath so I just walked away very disappointed having stayed here so many times I will not stay here again

I loved this hotel! I was there for 4 nights in a beautifully decorated seaview room on the 4th floor. The location is ideal and I was lucky to have some lovely sunny days there. Every member of staff I encountered was friendly and helpful. The terrace was a bonus - even though the restaurant is not open it was a great place to eat a takeaway and watch the world go by or read a good book. I chatted to some other guests there and they were nice too! The bed was so comfortable - when i arrived I decided to lay down for a bit and fell into a deep sleep! Most of all I felt safe and had a chance to really relax. On the weekend there were too many people out for my liking, so I was happy to chill on the terrace, or take in the seaview from my room. I can't think of anything bad to say about this hotel :-) I hope to go back there someday.

We booked this Hotel after staying at their sister hotel last year. We knew it was a higher price but after working all through lockdown, we just needed to finally treat ourselves. Turns out - 100% worth the extra money! We had a Seaview double which again had the best views especially on a sunny day! The jacuzzi was the best way to end a day spent walking around Brighton! We read online about about the new covid breakfast options so decided to opt out this as we knew plenty of cafes nearby anyways. No luggage storage this time around which wasn’t ideal but not their fault - again covid restrictions. Lovely staff as previously and the place felt clean and safe throughout our stay. Location 10/10.

Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting something a little different from your regular chain hotels. We will return Granville Hotel!!! :)

We payed £150 for a standard double room for one night. The view was not good, looking out onto the kitchen flat roof. Shabby and messy. The room was average unlike the images on the website where the room looks great. Due to covid we had a cream cheese bagel, coffee and bottle of water. It was OK but nothing special. Overpriced for the room and standard of breakfast. Will not return.

Just a one light stay , the hotel is full of character , old and creaky but lovely at the same time. The staff very friendly and they have organised check in post covid very well. The only downside is the lack of parking but the Regency car park is a minute away and £20 overnight .
Rooms were big and nicely finished , the location is straight out on to the promenade and minutes walk from the centre of town .

What a stunning location. The room was exceptional, huge four poster bed with amazing sea view. Very luxurious jacuzzi tub for 2. The decor is simply stunning, cannot rate highly enough. Recommend Smokies bar/restaurant in the basement. Fabulous ribs that literally melted in the mouth. Parking is next door in Regency Square secure car park. Highly recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway.

Hi,park outside the city in the saltdean area in a side road just of the main road and get a bus in to the centre. This is what we did so instead of paying £25 to £30 for parking we payed £5 return on the bus. There is a car park behind the hotel but expensive.

No there are no parking facilities at the hotel. There is a car park within easy walking distance but I read somewhere that parking in Brighton is quite expensive. The staff at the hotel are very helpful; why not ring them for advice and information?
