Having spent the night in room 114 with my Wife I am very dissapointed in the comfort of the bed in a Deluxe suite. The matress is in need of replacment as springs where digging into my back and not supporting the body as a good matress should. I had very little sleep due to noise where the room is...

Dear Guest, I read with dismay your comments and I am sorry if your stay with us was not as expected. We have made note of recent comments with regards noise disturbance on the 2 ground floor rooms and our Proprietor is making enquiries into how this issue can be addressed. As for the breakfast, I am really surprised as...

Terrific welcome, very friendly staff, great rooms and decor, enjoyable food from locally sourced ingredients. Two t-girls on a short break couldn't have asked for more, we had such a wonderful time I don't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anybody that wants a relaxing, enjoyable break.

Very good value for money, great location and staff helpful and friendly. Only 2 negatives BUT that is more to do with Brighton - there is no parking and the bathroom is small. Those are the reasons why only 4 stars but I would only give 5 if there was on site parking.

My friend and I wanted a girly break in Brighton and picked the New Steine mainly because I had stayed at the sister hotel, Gullivers , on a previous occasion. The New Steine was an excellent choice as we could not have received better treatment. Being transgendered and living as women for the duration of our stay we were treated...

Look no further if you want a hotel that satisfies on so many levels. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The room we were initially booked into didn't have a shower cubicle which doesn't suit us and we were offered the choice of 2 other rooms without hesitation. Our room, like the whole hotel was very clean, comfortable and warm....

I stayed here over the New Year period, 2011/2012. It was very close to many bars and restaurants in Kemptown, the rooms were clean and the bar downstairs always open. Highly recommended. S

Excellent, friendly hotel in ideal location for exploring the delights that Brighton has to offer. Staff were helpful, friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. The room was clean, comfortable and quite. My only comment was that the hot water pressure on the basin was far too low and took ages to get warm! The breakfast was plentyful, cooked fresh...

Well presented and comfortable room. Bathroom a bit dark and dowdy but clean. Quiet location next to the sea. Friendly hospitality and good breakfast.

Pros: Room was neat, clean and functional. Hotel handy for all amenities. Staff helpful and efficient. Breakfast v good. Cons: Pretty expensive for what you get (we booked a deluxe room). Noisy at night, though this is not the hotel's fault.

My wife and I were looking for a nice hotel near the centre of Brighton that wouldn't rip us off £20 for car-parking, after hours of searching, I stumbled across the New Steine Hotel, we really liked the look of what we saw, so decided to book a Deluxe Double with a sea view. We arrived at the hotel around...
