This hotel is nicely situated. However, that's all I have to say that is good about it. Even though I was staying on the second floor, the noise from the club downstairs kept me awake all night. As if that wasn't bad enough, the other guests were very loud - banging doors and shouting at all hours. My bathroom was...

Great location on the sea front right by the sea life centre. 10min walk from the station. Hotel rooms are fairly basic but fine for a boys / girls weekend. Room comes with breakfast and is a full English. Hotel has a small nightclub in it.

If you want to stay on the sea front, and less than 10 minutes walk to the pier then this is the place to stay. Room had everything you need, plus the bathroom was great with a wonderful shower! There is a club attached to the hotel, which you get free entry to if you are a guest, we didn't...

I spent two nights here on a work trip. I found the hotel relatively easily and it's in a great location right on the seafront, not far from the amenities of the city centre. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and the 3rd floor room was basic but good enough with a nice view of the sea. At this...

We regularly visit Brighton, last month we stayed at the New Madeira and had a great room overlooking the sea and big wheel. Also enjoyed parking facility, not easy to park in Brighton so this was a great advantage.

The hotel itself was pretty basic but ok for 1 night to put my head down while i was visiting friends for a 40th party. While I was at the party someone had entered my room and stole my satnav and ipod from my room . After reporting this to reception all they could say was sorry and the manager...

I was booked for one night for my sister's 40th. She was staying elsewhere fof the weekend, so I just needed a bed for the night. Wanted something cheap and cheerful. After lots of searching, this was in my price range and in the perfect location (plus points!) The reception was beside their bar/dining area and, on arrival, there was...

The rooms are pretty basic and the decor isn't exactly 5-star. But the rooms are reasonably spacious and were very clean. There were blackout curtains, decent beds and high up at the back of the building it was quiet, though I imagine lower floors would be noisy. The staff were helpful and they do a good fried breakfast. There is...

I stayed here with a colleague after we'd stayed in the Thistle and decided we liked the sea view but wanted something cheaper. Check in was fine and we found our rooms easily although the stairs and corridors are narrow as they are in a lot of smaller hotels. We'd both chosen sea-view rooms and they were pleasant enough. When...

20 of us stayed for a hen weekend. I stayed in room 101 - on the ground floor at the front of the building right next to the club entrance. The room was absolutely freezing cold as the windows are so old, the air vent in the bathroom made a banging noise all night, and there were speakers from the...
