Bear in mind this is a 2 star hotel if staying, so expect a few its frayed round the edges. It is also all stairs. My stay was excellent. The room I had (301) has a single and a double bed and en suite shower and toilet.Very quiet ,as at back of hotel away from noise on sea front.Clean room and bathroom, cleaned each...

Went on a Hen weekend and after the reviews read on here I was very reluctant to stay at the hotel. Staying there totally changed my opinion. The hotel is getting slowly refurbished and rooms are looking very nice and most are en suite. The manager told us that advance bookings will always get en suite rooms. Last minute booking...

We booked late for the Brighton Marathon and were really happy with the accommodation. The room was immaculate, clean and was decorated to a really high standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The free Wi-Fi for my daughter was a real bonus.

Rather a disappointment. We were on the fourth floor up, without a lift, which I'd known might happen, but perhaps the staff could offer some help with luggage as a nice touch? On the way up we noticed dozens of places where the wallpaper was peeling and the carpets had many stains. At first glance our bedroom seemed quite nice...

A great little hotel - good value for money. Friendly service, room looked like it had been freshly renovated - very modern decor, full ensuite. Top floor, so lots of stairs! Great location on the sea front. Would definitely stop there again.

I opted for this hotel because of its price, a weekend in Brighton with my partner and it ranked the cheapest in the central area. The staff member was friendly and accommodating throughout, he even took some food we had as gifts and held it in the fridge over the weekend. The room was pleasantly decorated, with a new shower...

Although small rooms you don't need the extra space with a nice double bed and walk in shower. Excellent price considering all surroundings are £100+ - this is perfect if you're more of a wanderer, so you would only be in to sleep anyway with many great bars to drink at on the front literally 3 mins walk and s...

The room was clean and tidy, and although small, was welcoming and cosy. The only aspect of the room I didn't like was having a shared toilet as it meant having to get dressed just to go to the bathroom but this is a minor annoyance. The hotel itself was quiet at all hours, I never heard a peep from...

Just back from a 2 night stay at The Cecil House Hotel. Booked as hubby was running in the Brighton Half. On arrival we were given a free upgrade to a sea view room, which had 2 double beds in and a lovely en suite. Spotlessly clean, and well maintained, although the tv doesn't stay on channel. There is a...
