As a travel writer I've stayed at hundreds of hostels in 77 countries all over the world, so I'm well qualified to say Kipps is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. The staff is lovely and very well trained. The facilities are quite amazing - big shared kitchen, breakfast room with a great breakfast, sunny deck, comfortable...

I greatly enjoyed my time at Kipps. I had a single, private room which was at the top of the hostel and looked out over the main street and the Brighton Dome. My room was cozy and had it's own sink, as well as a kettle for making tea or what have you. The bathroom was shared with the other...

I had such a great stay here, I was gone from the hostel most of the time, however the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They helped me out for finding things to do and places to see. Unfort. didn't really meet any fun backpackers but that's always a hit and miss. The place was very clean as well.

I was there in august for 4 nights. The dorm and the bathrooms were clean which is great! You can use the kitchen from I think 11am to 11pm... the hostel is very central and in walking distance to basically any attraction in Brighton. I did have one or two issues though. The staff clean the dorm rooms from 11am...

I booked for one night in a private room. Rooms was small but clean and with lovely seaside decoration. Very comfortable, excellent facilities, a good night's sleep. Although I had only juice and coffee for breakfast, there were plenty of options for those that wanted to eat (continental style). Staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely try to book...

I stayed at the Kipps for a few nights, and stayed in a 10- room dorm. The room was clean but since it was summer there were a few flies in the room. The bathroom was decent and the staff was friendly. There was free breakfast and very close to the pier and night clubs. If your traveling alone, its...

The hostel is in a house and it is simple, but very clean. Staff is very nice. There are no lifts, so don't take a huge suitcase. There is a Continental breakfast that costs 3 pounds and it is good value. It is 10 minutes walking from the bus station. Good location

Lovely staff, great location +brilliant facilities, plus clean +well organised. Also possible to buy a parking permit, which is far cheaper for 24hrs of parking than the carparks (as it's right near the coast/town centre the parking is all short pay+display or permits only).

We were 4 friends coming to Brighton for 1 night & we were very pleasantly surprised at how lovely the hostel was. It was more like a hotel. The staff were all very welcoming & carried our bags up to our rooms on arrival. We had the 2 twin rooms on the top floor. The rooms & bed linen were...

I was stayed at this hostel twice when i was in Brighton. From the outside it's not much to impress me, but inside is awesome. i felt homely, staff were very friendly.
