This gem in the heart of Kemptown had all the ingredients for a discrete and relaxing 48 hours. The owners were an excellent mix of attentive and not obvious. Room 8 was just fabulous. A beautiful zen garden complete with waterfall and subtle lights. Whirlpool bath for relaxing. Very comfortable bed, all facilities. I will highly recommend to friends visiting....

Arrived at midday which wasn't a problem. Friendly welcome by Richard and after a cup of coffee and a chat about restaurant recommendations the room was ready. Room 8 was great, large comfy bed with nice sheets, private courtyard and Jacuzzi bath. Nice little touches like cotton wool balls, wine flutes, fridge, tea making stuff and quickly eaten chocolates. The...

The hotel is perfectly situated to St James's...

Stayed here during the Brighton marathon. Very friendly owners who welcomed us warmly. Rooms seemed recently refurbished and were very clean with excellent facilities. Great welcome pack in the room with bar, cafe and restaurant recommendations. Wonderful breakfast with plenty of choice and great service. Will definitely stay here again.

We recently paid a trip to the UK and down to Brighton to revisit an old haunt. We looked at hotels, checked out the prices, reviews, photos, etc and, too be honest were a little underwhelmed, so we decided to check out the B&Bs. There are hundreds of them, but in our opinion you can't go wrong with this one....
