We were just down in Brighton for the weekend and did not need anything posh and this hotel served the purpose. Basic but clean rooms. Shower had plenty of hot water but temperture varied when sink taps were in use. Well placed in walking distance of central Brighton.

To be honest I wasn't expecting too much. Approaching with a realistic mindset considering the price meant I was happy with my stay. Bed was comfy, had an en suite and It contributed to one of the happiest times of my life so far! Staff were nice and helpful. Didn't use the bar or have the breakfast so I can't...

I was extremely disappointed with this hotel, which was certainly not worth the money they charge . When we arrived , we were greeted with a very solemn chap, who seemed a bit put out for having to check us in . The hotel is noisy and grubby and our room stank of stale cigarettes . There was no hot...

I and five friends stayed for one night on a last minute break. We booked two triple rooms, one without a shower. We booked through booking.com and were required to pay as we picked up the keys. We asked if we could split the bill between us and the man on the desk said it would not be possible. As...

This hotel is in a fab location... On arrival, the reception area is actually OK. Once we had got our room keys, we headed up the stairs and there was an overwhelming smell of weed!! Literally like someone was smoking in the corridor! We got into the room and it was a dump.... It stank of smoke and our clothes...

On arrival we were greeted by the person in reception eating a KFC- alarm bells were ringing as to why he wasn't eating the hotel food!!! Needless to say that we didn't have breakfast even though it was included. The room was no better. There was an inch gap under the door, you needed a tetanus to use the bathroom,...

We stayed at the new cosmopolitan for one evening on a Saturday night. Parking wasn't great ( they had pay and display outside the hotel but never a space available) , but it's what you expect for Brighton seafront...we parked in a local council car park, which to be fair was only 2 minutes walk away, albeit rather expensive...£18.20 for...

Rooms were very dated and the walls paper thin. You can hear everything from the rooms around you, and I mean everything from them going to toilet to having sex. The bed was terrible, we'd have probably slept better on the floor. The guy on the reception was extremely unhelpful when we requested two keys as there was two people....

Well, there was a bed. And there was breakfast. So that was OK. And the ladies serving breakfast were very pleasant. However the state of decoration was very poor. The radiator in our room was not on, so when we arrived the room smelled cold and damp. The 'deadlock' knob was missing from the lock on our bedroom door, so...
