Stayed at The Kelvin for our wedding anniversary 30th September for 2 nights last minute search for hotel/guest house for the weekend. Stayed in superior double room and it was amazing. Really friendly welcome upon arrival whilst I laid on a few surprises for my wife for when she arrived. Even helped us with parking permit. Room fabulous, bed comfy...

I have never used the word dump in a review but I am afraid that what this place is. The place is dirty and tatty. The carpets are stained and clearly not well cleaned. The TV remote didn't work so I couldn't watch the TV. The sink in the room was so small that a shave was nearly impossible. The...

This is a nice play to stay and very central. Parking is an issue though. The rooms are lovely, we stayed in a double but there were a couple of issues. The shower head was lose and would spontaneously sort of hang off, and the taps were too close together so it was REALLY hard to fill up with kettle...

Although basic, it is a really friendly place, the breakfast is excellent. But the best bit, the staff, Patrick and his colleagues are brilliant, The location is very convenient for all Brighton attractions, and only a 5 minute walk to the centre.

The location of this B&B is excellent, 2 mins from Brighton Pier and close to all the bars and shops. It's a 10 min walk into Brighton town centre and 20 mins walk from Brighton train station. The rooms were smaller than expected, comes with decent beds, flat screen TV, sink, small wardrobe but everything is clean and good for...

I recently visited The Kelvin guesthouse with a friend on my first weekend away in Brighton. We booked a couple of nights and definitely enjoyed our stay from start to finish. We were greeted by Theresa, the lovely owner of the guesthouse who sorted us out with our rooms as well as our parking (notoriously difficult in Brighton but Theresa...

The Kelvin is near the sea front and not in easy reach if you have heavy bags and intend to walk (get a taxi) however, if you have backpacks then you can enjoy a stroll down the lanes and beach before reaching the Kelvin. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were small, but we were only there...

I booked this b&b as I was working in the area for a few days and needed a place to sleep. When I arrived I received a very warm welcome, the place had a real family atmosphere. My room was very clean and cosy and it had everything to suit my needs. I enjoyed the breakfast which was cooked fresh.
