Dont let the look put you off! Was tempted to turn back around and leave as the place looks like it needs an update.. but so glad we stayed.. bar lady was lovely and friendly. I had the lamb burger and chips and the kids had the sausages and chips. Was very impressed the chips we're cooked to perfection and...

Typical drinkers pub, obviously popular with the locals.Dog friendly. Menu looked OK although didn't see anyone eating. Good for watching sky sports, but gets noisy when goals are scored. Drinks prices not cheap.

Fantastic lunch of cod and chips - delicious fresh cod and real chips and ample portions. All washed down with a good and reasonably priced bottle of prosecco. Staff friendly and accommodating. Beautiful sun trap terrace on the front. We'll be back.

We visit Hastings every year and this is always a great place to visit. The food is amazing value and very tasty. The dogs are welcomed with opened arms which is lovely. The two members of staff we saw were very friendly. It does look a bit shabby but if you can ignore that it's a great find

really large menu, plenty of selection. Everything appears to be cooked fresh to order so it took a little while for the meals to arrive, but when they did it was well worth the wait! If you are in Hastings keep going along the front nearly to the end and give it a go!

We popped in here as it was raining and they were happy for us to bring our dog in. We found the bar staff very friendly and we ended up staying for dinner. We had scampi and chips and they made a burger for our son just as he liked it. Definitely worth a visit would highly recommend. Good location...

It's not often I would bother reviewing a pub but we had a lovely late lunch on Sunday and were met by great service, reasonable prices and a great meal. My boyfriend and friend popped in to have proper pub grub and we weren't disappointed. I had a hearty (and hot) chilli with rice, my boyfriend had the Chilli and...

Wide menu. Very reasonably priced. Three excellent cod and chips, and one shepherds pie. I'd had a shepherds pie last week in a posh place in Wimbledon but this was far better, with lovely cheesy mash, gravy and al dente veg. Very friendly service and welcoming. Thank you.
