It is refreshing to return to a hotel and find the standard is still high and the food improved. Our room was well equipped, clean and comfortable with a great sea view. Plenty of hot water and quality towels. Food is much improved since our last visit. Recommend both spare ribs and the burgher. Breakfast was awersome the full Audrey...

Very poor hotel in much need of modernisation to bring it up to date maybe a pet friendly hotel but only irresponsible dog owners and hoteliers would allow dogs that have flea infestation into their hotel on our return were covered in flea bites will not be staying there again

St Mary in the Castle cafe is attached to the White Rock Hotel. It is set into the cliff and is a grade 2 former church of neo-classical design, 1828. We needed a coffee and so decided to pop in for one here. It's airy and newly furnished (September '16). There are a dozen or so tables and a licenced...

Did not stay in the hotel but used the bar facilities on a week day, the weather was glorious so we decided to sit on the verandah and have a coffee and a snack. The coffee was good but as the professor was peckish I ordered him a sausage and onion bagette when it came it contained 1 and a...

Nice location on the sea front, parking available but few spaces compared to the size of the hotel. Once inside I waited a good ten minutes at front desk for someone to check me in, but was greeted by two large barking dogs. The room was on the third floor, felt like a rabbit warren getting to it. Room was...

Just back from a great weekend in the family suite, with our 2 girls aged 8 and 6. The jack and Jill bathroom works well for us and the girls love the room. The food both morning and evening was great and excellent value. The staff were friendly and efficient as usual and I just love the general vibe in...

Avoid room if at all possible. This room is right next door to the lift. All you get is a constant droning noise when the lift is in use, plus an annoying buzzing when the lift is called. Also, at around 18:45, the hotel seemed to run out of hot water. Reported issue, only to be told that this is...

This hotel is ideally situated opposite the pier and next to the theatre. Whilst not in the centre of Hastings town centre, it is but 10 -15 minute walk away depending if you want the modern dependable shops or to go into the independent shops and cafes of old Hastings. The rooms are spacious clean and modern along with the...
