Benetta and The Corner House are simply delightful. The facilities were clean, the bed was wonderfully comfortable and the breakfast was delicious... Benetta sure knows how to do crispy bacon! Her labradoodle Orsa is SO friendly and I would absolutely stay again next time I visit lewes.. five stars from me :) About a ten minute walk into the High...

I wanted to visit Lewes to research some sites associated with some historic research I am doing. The Corner House was the perfect spot from which to visit the sites. Benneta was an attentive host and looked after us well. The room was compact and comfortable.

The owner was friendly and helpful, we had a comfortable bed and excellent breakfasts. She booked us a taxi for our evening out, recommended local places to eat and provided local maps and guides. Just be aware that although this small B&B is accessible Lewes is a steep town. Lots to see and do.

This is my third time staying with Benetta at the Corner House, and it remains the perfect place when visiting Lewes. Benetta really is the perfect host, the room is very comfortable, the breakfast divine, and the dog adorable. I look forward to my next visit!

Spent one night in Lewes at the Corner House. In my opinion it was one of the best B&B on SDW. Benetta was very friendly, welcoming and hospitable. The cat & dog added much to the experience. The room was clean, tidy and very comfortable. I loved the bathroom. I would recommend The Corner House if you are looking for...

The rooms were most comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious and made even more wonderful by the lovely garden views and stimulating conversation with our hostess. We will definitely return here and also to the...

This is a good standard B&B set in a quiet residential area of beautiful Lewes. It has only two rooms so it is a bit more "private" than larger B&B's. I stayed here for three nights and enjoyed myself. I had the east bedroom which faces the street and I slept well in a comfortable bed. The room is big...

Warm welcome from Benetta after a weary journey down. Within a short time I was snuggled up in the cosiest bed. An easy walk into the hub of Lewes and to the station, the house is perfectly situated. A private parking space is a welcome relief in a town which seems to have more cars than spaces. Nothing is a...
