I had been staying in Brecon Guest House in mid of March 2016. I was very happy with the experience. Firstly, the place is not far from the city centre / train station which is very helpful. So, Its very easy to get around. Secondly, the place/room is nice, neat & comfortable. The house is big and has nice backyard....

This was a spur of the moment booking and a great find which suited us down to the ground. Nice welcome, clean, quiet, comfortable room. Jacki and Robert are lovely hosts who produced a super breakfast. Would use again if in this area. Highly recommended.

We spend 6 nights with Jacki and Robert end of June, and it was excellent. Our hosts make you really feel at home and help you with everything. The location is perfect, the breakfast is very good and the rooms are clean. We visit UK more than 25 years and this is really one of the best B&B's we had.

A welcoming couple, lovely views from the spacious rooms - especially the two rooms at the front facing out directly onto the south downs - and a really hearty breakfast with locally sourced produce. We enjoyed watching the foxes chase the rabbits as we sat in the breakfast room. Friendly, comfortable and very fairly priced.

We stayed for a weekend as we had a wedding in the area. The hosts were interesting, informative and friendly, they couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating:-) The house is charming and bedroom we stayed in (facing the golf course), was really peaceful and comfortable with a lovely view, lots of wardrobe space and a great compact on-suite. We stayed here for 3 nights in an ensuite room overlooking the garden. Easy walk into the town. Very friendly owners. Lovely breakfasts with lots of fresh fruit, yoghurt and whatever cooked breakfast you would like.

We liked this place. Our hosts were very welcoming, without being intrusive, and helpful in telling us where the best places were to walk and later to eat. The double glazing kept out the wind and the bed was comfortable. Also, most importantly from our point of view, the bedside lighting was good enough to read by.
