Bentons is very well placed for Cheltenham town centre being just a short walk away. You are welcomed in by Christian, who is simply the best host. The rooms are clean and tidy - the two rooms we had, shared a bathroom and toilet which were on different levels of the house. This didn't pose a problem at all. The...

This guest house is ideally placed for central Cheltenham being just a stone's throw away from Town Hall, Playhouse Theatre, the Everyman and the Regent's arcade. Christian is amazingly committed to his guests and I truly wonder how he finds time to sleep given how much he appears to do to ensure that the experience here is first class. Breakfast...

I'd booked here as I needed to meet my girlfriend early morning in Cheltenham after she returned from a trip abroad, and there were limited options for a single room. The manager (or owner ?) Christian rang me before arrival to explain about the parking. He then found me a space in a nearby carpark. The room was small but...

Sadly had an emergency visit to the General hospital. Called Christian, the new owner who found me a great room @ very short notice. Christian was very friendly, helpful, & flexible with my random comings & goings. The location is great for the hospital, town & all amenities. Great value & wholsom breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thanks

We stayed here for New Year's Eve and we very impressed with our room and the service. Although this was New Year's Eve our host went out of his way to make us feel welcome and we would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

We were made very welcome on arrival by Christian (manager, receptionist, breakfast cook and waiter). Comfortable and clean upstairs room with small en suite bathroom (shower only). Small garden at the back of the property for guests use. Excellent full English breakfast. Easy walk into the centre of Cheltenham. Car park about 3 minutes walk away. A make over of...

The good: • Large, spacious rooms • Very comfortable beds • Clean and tidy • Close proximity to town centre (walking distance) • Good breakfast • Polite host, tends to your needs The Bad: • Unless you're in an ensuit room, you'll have to share a bathroom with other guests; bad side is that there was only one lavatory upstairs...

The service was great, Christian was very considerate to all my needs. The room was nice and cosy with flat screen and en suite bathroom. There is a close by gym, lidl, and Sainsbury local. Bars and restaurant walking distance. Best liked was the fact the location is not too loud but close to all amenities. Least disliked was wobbly...

I booked this guest house in booking.com a little out of desperation as there wasn't many other options for the weekend I was staying. However, it was a great find - fab location, close to town and montpellier, clean and tidy, good breakfast. Whilst the shared bathroom isn't ideal, it's fine for a short stay and it was spotlessly clean....

Christian is the best host I have ever met. He takes care of guests' need in the most gentle way. There was one night when I delayed my laundry to very late at night, yet badly needed it. He came back from his rest and operated the washing machine for me with the most patience. The building is not luxurious,...
