Cheltenham Grange was a lovely warm welcoming place to stay. We were travelling to Cheltenham to attend a funeral at short notice so needed to take our dog. This was not a problem at all and she even got doggy treats when she got there and there was no extra charge There was plenty of parking and the hotel was close to Pitville Park which was lovely. We really felt like the hotel was a home from home and nothing was too much trouble. Due to all the Covid restraints, the dining room was available for us in the evening for us to eat a takeaway. The breakfast was lovely and much of it homemade. We will definitely stay there again
We had a wonderful stay at the Cotswold Grange back in June. Check in was friendly and efficient, and we were shown to our stunning room on the top floor of the hotel. There is no lift, so it was a climb up a couple of steep staircases. Our room had the most beautiful spacious bathroom, and an amazing view of the surrounding countryside. Breakfast was generous with good choices, and perfect poached eggs. The hotel is situated about a twenty minute walk from the centre of Cheltenham, in a residential area. Lots of beautiful houses and interesting Georgian architecture. We will be returning to Cheltenham, and would stay at the Cotswold Grange without hesitation.
We stopped over for one night during lockdown for a house move. From the moment we called to book to the moment we left, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Lovely hotel with comfortable rooms. We were the only people staying, but we were given an excellent breakfast in the dining room. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
We held a wake here during the covid crisis and the staff at the hotel were so welcoming and accomodating. The food was great and the decor was charming. I would highly recommend the hotel. It is situated in a quiet area but close to the town centre
We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we first communicated with them prior to booking until we left in Tuesday morning. The staff were very friendly and respectful of the measures that had been introduced to keep everyone safe during these times. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had a lovely view of the cotswolds in the distance, just what we hoped. The hotel was in a perfect location for us. Not right in the hustle and bustle of the town centre, but just a short walk away if you wanted to go into Cheltenham. We went on some lovely walks in the Cotswolds as this was our primary reason for staying here, only a 10 minute drive and you are into the countryside ready to explore. The kind reception staff brought our breakfast to our room each morning so we could avoid sitting in a public space with others and the breakfast was well presented and more importantly, delicious! We had the Eggs Flourentine and the Full English, and would totally recommend. Such a lovely two night stay away and would recommend to others :)…
