It is really refreshing to find an establishment where there is so much attention to detail, the rooms are well maintained and so much effort is put into customer service (all three are sadly lacking from many hotels and B&Bs in the UK these days). On arrival Lydia gave us a very warm welcome and lots of useful information about...

Visited an old friend in the Cotswolds and the Wyastone was recommended to me by a race going friend that frequents the hotel annually. I could not have been happier with his recommendation! Smiling staff, beautiful room overlooking the front and a bar supplied with tasty local ales. What more could a Yorkshire man desire. I will definitely come back...

Having read some of the other comments we really were expecting better. Yes, the location is good and the staff are pleasant, but the price for what essentially is a guest house (not a boutique hotel) is rather excessive. We booked what is described is as a "superior courtyard double". In reality, you go through the house, across the rear...

An excellent location for anyone visiting Cheltenham, nicely positioned just on the edge with a 10 minute walk into both the Montpellier bit in one direction and the main part of town in the other. Nice breakfast, good rooms, very helpful hosts. If you want a more upmarket b&b without the high end hotel prices this fits the bill and...

The location is excellent, really close to Montpelier bars and restaurants as well as an easy walk into town. The staff were all utterly charming. Breakfast was excellent and served in a most pleasant room by a delightful host. Our room was across an inner courtyard which offered privacy and was very pleasant, although the bathroom could do with a...

My father has been returning to the same hotel for years and I can see why. It is an attractive, airy building with clean, well-equipped rooms. The complimentary breakfast is freshly cooked to order, substantial and there is a wide choice - I particularly recommend the homemade granola if you get up early enough to catch it before everyone scoffs...

Friendly welcome with maps and advice on arrival. Our courtyard room was spacious and comfortable. Full English breakfast was excellent. Having booked through booking.com we had left a dietary request on the booking page but this had not been passed on to the Wyastone. We should have made the request directly to ensure it would be taken care off but...

I needed accommodation in Cheltenham for the duration of a business contract which was convenient to the Cheltenham General Hospital and had good access to places to eat in the evening. The Wyastone provided everything I was looking for and offered very comfortable rooms and one of the most extensive breakfast menus I've encountered. Lydia and her team are friendly...

It was a delight to stay at the Wyastone on this past week. The owner, Lydia, is an authentically beautiful soul, and you can see that reflected in the space at the Wyastone.
