We have just enjoyed a 4-day visit to this area and found this little gem of a B&B. The welcome on our arrival was great and we were given a tour of the room where we could sit in the evenings and enjoy a small glass of sherry. We were then taken through to the conservatory where the breakfast would...

A lovely campsite with a very large flat field for camping. Near the front are hard standings for motor homes and then grass pitches for tents. On the right hand site are electricity hook ups. Whilst the left do not have access to electricity. As the campsite is off a major road with will hear road noise but if you...

Me and my partner stayed here for the weekend in August for a wedding can't fault this place the breakfast was the brilliant set us up for day. We stayed here for a wedding nearby, there's no getting over the fact that the building is in need of some upgrade and tlc, however the rooms were spotlessly clean and the owners could not do enough for the guests. My only suggestion would be to extend the breakfast times (8-9am and as we'd been out late the night before...

The cheapest B&B in the area by a country mile and the best value too. The building and rooms are quite dated....very 1950's in décor but are immaculately clean and almost uniquely there is a guests lounge by the dining room. Ah...the dining room! Stand by for the biggest breakfast you ever ate! Alf and his folk really know how...

I felt compelled to write a review of the campsite as I had read all bad on the lead up to our visit and therefore went with some dread. Yes, it's fair to say the facilities are basic, with only two toilets and one shower and one wash area, but my young family of four did not find this a...

We were one of three families who stayed here for a camping get-together over the BH weekend. The booking process was clearly troublesome with the owners phoning us a couple of weekends earlier asking where we were?! Trying to explain we had definitely booked BH weekend, not one in April, was painful and didn't fill us with confidence. The large...

Situated next to a hospital, the location is less to be desired. When we arrived the owner couldn't find our booking and looked at me as if I was some sort of criminal. Once our booking was found we were directed to our pitch and that was about it. We eventually found the shower block which was extremely basic and...

Stayed here for one night with my partner in our Motorhome on 23rd March. Very basic site, no chemical disposal or waste water disposal. Very basic shower block consisting of 2 toilets and next to them one very old shower. This shower block had central heating installed but was never turned on. My partner did complain that it was cold,...
