I can't recommend this restaurant more highly. The butter bean soup with anchovy butter & tempura shallots was absolutely amazing. We went to Painswick to visit the Rococo gardens but will visit again just to eat here!

A group of 10 planned a visit to Painswick and nearby gardens and wanted somewhere to dine afterwards, considering it was an out of season Sunday they kindly offered to open the restaurant just for us and we were treated to a belly bursting feast of French cuisine, excellent food excellent service excellent ambiance

This is an unusual place. We stayed in the Indian Room, which was a bit challenging for me. I am 5ft 11inches tall and was continually in danger of hitting my head on the bed canopy or the very low doorway into the room, which created a bit of a negative impression. But Magda was very nice and the view...

We loved this place! The hosts were lovely. The whole atmosphere was casual and relaxed which was great for us as we felt at home from the minute we stepped in the door. Room was lovely. Magda was a gem, and it was a pleasure to stay here. I would recommend this B&B highly!

Really impressed with this B and B. Stayed here for two nights as a rest point after walking The Cotswold Way. The hosts gave us a warm welcome on arrival and the room was presented so well, beautiful furniture and ornamentation. Received the same warm welcome at breakfast which was delicious with lots of choices. Highly recommend staying here.

We stayed in the Indian room (and ate at the attached restaurant JK's - see separate review) for our anniversary in December 2012. It was wonderful - Magda the manager made us so welcome and ensured that we had everything we needed. Despite the awful wet and windy weather, the room was very cosy and comfortable. We were the only...

A beautifully located family run restaurant with rooms in the heart of the acclaimed Cotswolds, we are close to the Regency Spa town of Cheltenham with its colonnaded high street of top name shops and famous racecourse, though still rural enough to enjoy the many walking paths and bridal ways of this lovely county. ... more   less
