My daughters and I, called in at Stow to collect items and fancied a cup of something hot before our drive back home. We called in just for a coffee and the lady on reception was so helpful and very accommodating. We sat in the lounge with the open fire, coffee and hot chocolate served quickly. The ambiance was extremely...

We stopped for three nights on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast basis. The hotel carpark is within the hotel grounds and bags etc. can be off loaded at the door. The hotel has an "Old world charm" about it that made the whole experience of our stay that more enjoyable. It is worth noting that children under 5 are not...

We stopped off here one evening for a bite to eat in the bar area. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and made us feel very welcome and at ease. The hotel itself is lovely, it has a real old world feel to it. The food, was very nice, freshly prepared and came out in generous portions. They also...

This is a fantastic charming family run establishment where the little things matter just as much as the big things. The attention to detail and care from all the staff we met has never been surpassed any where I have stayed. We have stayed in the Cotswolds previously and plan to return but the Stow Lodge hotel will be our...

One of the best and most comfortable experiences of hotel visits we have had, due in no small part to the friendly and helpful staff. Room was most comfortable, with the luxury of two armchairs. Location so close to the town centre was an added bonus. Thank you to all who made our stay so enjoyable and we hope to...

Note: This is just a review of the restaurant, which does not appear to be separately listed. A happy memory of lunch last year led to a repeat visit with Canadian cousins for Sunday lunch. In short, the meals (beef roasts, one lamb roast and haddock) were lovely: tasty, well presented and with generous portions. The puddings were delicious: the...

This is our favourite family run hotel in the Cotswolds. This stay was a last minute booking and the only room available was in the Coach House , again as well appointed as the rooms in the main hotel. Like the whole of the hotel spotless . It was a ground floor room which suited us as we knew before...

Very nice two nights in Stow. Up the stairs (no lift), through a door, up a step and around the corner to our room, which was not large. However it was nicely appointed and looked out onto the lawn and front garden and was comfortable with a small two-seat sitting area. The public area lounges were very comfortable and had...

We stayed for two night nights in August at Stow Lodge hotel. From start to finish it was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is central within the town but quiet at night. Being traditional, not for people who like modern buildings. Everything was at hand in the bedroom, plenty of room for clothes. The breakfast was...
