This was our second visit to this hotel and it won't be our last! Friendly greeting on arrival and they didn't mind us changing our room( we just wanted a shower and not just a bath, ). We were in room five which had a super viiew over the village square . Nice homely seating area with radio playing on... More

We stayed one night (1st November) and found the service excellent, food very good and room comfortable. Room 1 - certainly a step up from the usual chain of hotels you might stay in, little touches such as complimentary soft drinks in the fridge, fresh milk, coffee machine, hot water bottle etc. were appreciated. Sadly we had assumed a bath... More

We stayed at this hotel to celebrate my sisters birthday. This is not the sort of price we would normally pay for hotel in this area. The hotel is very quaint yet modern and the room was decorated to a high standard. It seemed to be individually decorated ad though of which was nice but so so small for what... More

We booked three nights, midweek (albeit during school half term), partly on the basis of other rave reviews. We were not disappointed. Our exceptionally peaceful and comfortable room (no.5, overlooking the square, with exposed beams, cosy sofa and excellent shower) was a real haven after a day's walking in the Cotswolds. We loved the combination of old and new in... More

We met up as a family and stayed in Stow for a week at the end of October 2016. As two parents recently turned 70, we booked a meal at The Old Stocks to celebrate. The staff at the Old Stocks were very helpful beforehand, taking the booking and menu choices in advance via email due to the large size... More

I absolutely loved my two night stay at this darling boutique hotel and really wish I had planned to stay longer. Stow is a lovely, little town near to many Cotswolds attractions, though you may not want to leave the heavenly environs of the OS. My top floor room was incredibly well decorated and comfortable with modern amenities and flourishes... More

We absolutely love The Old Stocks Inn! We would highly recommend it to any traveler in the Cotswold region of England. The rooms are immaculate, perfectly decorated and whimsical! We especially enjoyed our time in the bar. The decor is lovely, cozy and Pete the bartender was very attentive. He created a fabulous cocktail for us called the Casino Royal... More

Great hotel which has completely changed since its decorative overhaul! Staff and friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and a decent wine selection. We had a garden room for our stay which is usually recommended for visitors with pets (we don't have a dog and my wife is allergic to dog hair......however the room was very clean with no evidence... Our second visit, and as before very nice welcome, and a nice upgrade on our room, thank you. The rooms are very well renovated, the beds very comfy and the bathrooms are fitted to a high standard. So the room is comfy. There is unfortunately not much room in the building for sitting - the bar/lounge space is a bit... More

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The room was thoughtfully cared for and the mattress was amazing! I loved the complimentary beverages in the mini fridge, and the espresso machine was great. Plus the restaurant was incredible, order the steak! Breakfast was included in the price of the hotel, and was fantastic! Very relaxing and comfortable... More
