Arrived home today after a stay at this hotel. When we arrived at the hotel I wondered had we chosen to stay at the wrong hotel. The downstairs of the hotel didn't seem very nice and the hall carpet leading to the stairs going to rooms was filthy. I was surprised that ou room was a little small but clean....

We had a twin room for two nights -- the ensuite toilet did not flush properly and had a broken seat. After three complaints to reception, finally to the manager, a new seat was provided but the toilet flush was not repaired. Room was quite noisy due to a refrigeration unit outside the hotel. Good location opposite to the railway...

Arrived with the family and noticed immediately the lady in front of us was complaining of the wrong room. The receptionist was completely making a meal of it but seemed to resolve it eventually. We checked in and carried the families cases to the room only to find he checked us into a double room. We went downstairs to get...

My wife and I stayed at The Imperial for one night in order to attend a friends 60th. Good location next to the railway station. Easy check in - friendly staff - lovely room - incredibly comfortable bed - good breakfast. Would certainly return. Thanks for a great weekend.

I have known The Imperial for years, and was excited to be able to spend a night there last Friday with my eldest daughter. We had a lovely time visiting old friends and haunts in and around Stroud. We had a nice big twin room with tea and coffee, and a good bathroom with bath and shower, and soap and...

We stayed overnight whilst attending nearby Badminton Horse Trials. The Imperial was fairly large and next to the local station (although we heard no train noise during our stay). Rooms were comfortable and clean, although the bed and pillows were a bit soft for me. The restaurant downstairs serves Thai, which we didnt have. We also left early before breakfast,...

One night in Stroud on a trip from Newbury to Tewksbury created a need for a bed for the night. The Imperial Hotel is right by the station with a small but very useful car park. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff hospitable. Full english breakfast was prompt and hot.

I stayed at the imperial for one night - not a great nights stay in regards to sleeping - there was a constant beeping throughout the night which didn't stop until around 6am. You can't fault the location and the staffs hospitality, they were great. I felt the hotel needs a good clean in all public areas and also very...

Dear MV_240687, Sorry to hear that you didn't sleep well during your stay with us. We are pleased to know that you were happy with our service and the hotel location. The hotel public areas are cleaned on a day to day basis but unfortunately due to our central location, people drop all sorts of things on the pavement all...
