Nice place, nice people, nicely decorated rooms, - but not quite what we were expecting. Firstly - this place is very DIY - you can tell enthusiastic amateurs have developed the property. Secondly, it was a lot more self-serve than we expected; and there's no food available during the day - but there's a decent breakfast - the bread is...

This is a stunning part of the world, that we've visited often, and Zensa reflects this beauty, adding to it great service, lovely rooms and a wonderful serene atmosphere. Great to have a 25m pool to swim in too.

My girlfriend and I had a lovely relaxing weekend at this fantastic resort. The hosts Cyril and Hein and staff were absolutely amazing. Great company all round. Rooms and view was superb. Perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Thank you. Would definitely go again.

Dear Timothy, We are so happy you had a lovely time. We do things our way, and it is inspiring to feel things resonate with so many of our guests. We might be different from other establishments, we strive for being a relaxed, clean, warm environment for our guests to relax in and get away from the somewhat alienating way...

Great location and town to visit even if you are a from CT. Cyril and Hein are most welcoming and made us feel at home with the dinner and entertainment they provided. Everyone in the town is down to earth and friendly. Great views of the mountains and ocean.

We had a wonderful relaxed stay, a warm nice reception, good clean airy room, beautiful view of mountains and see, nice prepared diner, only a stroll to the wonderful beach and good location in a secluded village, but stil near Cape Town. The owners Cyrill and Hein are warm laid back people.

It was a lovely stay at Zensa Lodge. Peaceful and relaxing. It would have been nice if Jacuzzi was up and running but the pool, dinner, hosts and proximity of the beach was fantastic. They had a help yourself bar and communal kitchen that was nice. Things i would suggest: Aircon or ceiling fan in the room for those hot...

Dear Lee, Thank you so much to take the time out to write a review about your stay with us. So sorry the jacuzzi wasn't on when you were here. It takes quite a few hours to heat up, so isn't on automatically. Since the nights in Scarborough are always cool, there is not much need for airco - but...

Loved our time at Zensa Lodge :) thank you Hein and Cyril for making our stay so enjoyable. From the local restaurant, to the beautiful beach which was less than a 3 minute walk away from Zensa, it was the perfect couples getaway after a rather busy festive period. The room we stayed in was ideal, intimate and cosy and...

This was absolutely worth the trip. Would recommend Zensa Lodge any time. A very nice and relaxing place to stay. Hein and Cyril are amazing hosts and always friendly. The food is great from breakfast to dinner and you can really taste the passion that the chef has for it. Already planning our next trip to the lodge.

Nice enough place to visit, but yet again what's promised on the website and real life are well removed from each other. Mattresses were ancient and well beyond need of replacement. Dinners if you are lucky. Our rooms and the general appearance of the lodge is that it is in serious need of maintenance not just the quick lick of...

Dear Andre. Thank you for taking the time to write down your experience. Obviously we buy new mattresses regularly - it is the essential B in our B&B - perhaps you were unlucky to fall on a softer mattress than you expected. And a B&B indeed that is what we are. When enough guests are interested to sit around a...
