Cottage had everything we needed for our short break, very clean and tidy. Only negative was the very noisy floorboards upstairs. Cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly when we had car problems.

Stayed for a couple of nights last week. The Sudeley castle cottages are in a small courtyard with ample off street parking. Ann Boleyn cottage is a delight. Looks out on to the courtyard at the front and over the fields at the back, far enough from the road to not hear the cars and really really well appointed. Considering the almost medieval age of the cottage, walking in to the kitchen is ultra modern. The photos they have on the brochure online really don’t do it justice. A short walk away from the castle itself where you get free entry, and you can walk your dogs around the gardens and surrounding fields with no issues. Dogs are welcome, really clean and tidy, WiFi was great, quiet, small enclosed courtyard at the back of the property was useful, etc etc etc... really enjoyed ourselves. Close enough to Bourton and Stow for a trip out, or just stay out and walk along the river.. Genuinely the only thing I’d change, is put a broom in the cupboard. Dogs bring the mud in and the mini hoover is really not worth the effort.. other than that, can’t recommend highly enough.

Stayed with my Dad for 4 nights. Had a lovely stay. Cottages are very well equipped and comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for more 😊 there was plenty to do around and about but the best was the free entry to Sudeley Castle as a cottage quest. The village of Winchcombe was pretty and plenty of lovely walks. Highly recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights and overall it was a decent enough place to stay. It was all clean and reasonably provisioned but room size was quite small. We had 2 issues though - we arrived around 5pm and let ourselves in and found the place hadn't been cleaned since the previous family had left. We chased it up and I think it had been forgotten - the cleaners did arrive around half an hour after we called so we had to leave for an hour to give them room to clean. The other issue was that the Wifi barely worked, dropping out constantly if you were lucky enough to connect and Netflix, etc. just wouldn't work on the TV or our devices. Based on our experience, if you need Wifi then best avoided. You do get free entrance to Sudeley Castle which is definitely worth visiting. Winchome is a couple of minutes walk and is a nice base to stay with some busy pubs, decent food and conveniences stores. Parking is onsite and fine. Overall, it's OK, well positioned but not as good as some other places that we've stayed in the area.

Have just back from a trip to Sudeley Castle for a family wedding and stayed in the Oliver Cromwell cottage. Found the location close to Winchcombe to be excellent being only 10 minutes walk away (although the last 100 yards is steeply uphill) and handy for picking up items you have forgotten. The cottage access is good but this particular one has a lot of stairs to negotiate so be careful if this is an issue but others in the courtyard were different so check before you book. The cottage was brilliant with all mod cons available and clean and tidy with really friendly cleaning staff around during the day if there were any issues. Cannot fault the cottage and the surroundings, well worth a visit to use as a base for walking etc.
