The location of this hotel is ideal for shopping restraunts ,the Naval Dockyards and the foot ferry to Gosport. The breakfast was beautiful , and the staff lovely. We were a bit disappointed with our first room but absolutely loved the room we changed to. Had the best soak in a bath in forever!

Well what can i say. Booked here as close to Gunwharf and my family i was visiting. The hotel is hardly recognisable from outside i only noticed it as my coach stopped right outside the door. Now other signage to show it was the hotel or any hotel for that matter. The lobby looks nice when you enter but as...

For location of shopping at the quays this is great. However I do not think our room had been decorated in over 100 years! The wallpaper was all hanging off, the nets were filthy, the bathroom unit was falling apart, the duvet cover was ripped, hot water out of both hot and cold taps, I could go on with the...

We stayed 2 nights and it was so refreshing to stay at a hotel that is not bland and boring like the commercial ones, it is full of character with large rooms and high ceilings, our room overlooked the harbour with views of HMS Warrier, big winged chairs positioned looking out, you did feel rather grand, our room on second...

Stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions. For us it is convenient for the ferries when travelling abroad, next to bars, shops and the historic naval dockyard. The hotel has seen better days and could do with refurbishment but then it will loose its character. Large rooms, warm, and comfortable beds and a freshly cooked breakfast in the very stately dining...

We chose this hotel for its great location and we weren't disappointed!! It's a few mins from the Gunwarf Keys and only a few mins from the Historic Dockyard and all the tourist attractions! The hotel has lots of character. We had a large room, with a lovely bay window and 2 comfy chairs that overlooked the Harbour. Great for...

This was our third stay at Keppels and honestly I haven 't got shares in the place. Our room was large and welcoming as usual, the bed was clean and comfortable. The lift is totally horrendous but is fitting with the delightful, shabby and characterful nature of the place. I suppose you could usefully spend a couple of hundred thousand...

The building is quite shabby and needs a complete refurb but the rooms are large. No shower, just a bath in my room and plenty of hot water. Loose creaky floorboards. Would stay again for the reasons given below. No hesitation recommending it but dont expect anything too grand. Lovely staff. Comfy bed. Free Parking. Excellent location. Hot tasty breakfast....

Bright sample of eclipse of British Empire. From very 1st step inside there is feeling that one has returned to 50ties of XX century, even a bit of naftaline parfume is present. Yes it's not the first freshness, last furnishing perhaps from 80ies or even more early- but! Bed was comfortable Lux A+++/five stars level. The view from from window (...
