we were in the top floor twin room, very warm and bright with own shower and toilet. Very clean and lovely breakfast, walking distance from station, theatre and town centre, cannot fault the staff. Free Wi-Fi as well.

Amazing stay and MayView Guest House in Southampton. The lady who ran it was such a lovely lady and went out her way to make us feel at home. Rooms were awesome and beds so comfy! Also makes a superb English breakfast

We stayed in this B&B and enjoyed the experience. The owner was very welcoming and helpful, the room was very comfortable, although very small and the whole place was very clean. We stayed in a garden room (room 2). The rooms itself was small, with a double bed against the wall with just enough room for a bedside table. The... More

Typical guesthouse, well run, clean, warm, near to restaurants and bars. Excellent cooked breakfast, room well equipped, free wi fi, comfortable beds. Would recommend for an overnight stay but the only drawback is shared bathrooms.

Location is excellent, easy walk from station and into centre. The room itself was a great surprise, with the crispest, whitest bedding, beautifully presented. Breakfast was also a good English, to set us up for the day. Hosts were both exceptionally friendly and helpful. Shower rooms are not ensuite, and had obviously been cleaned, with fresh hand towel and mats.... More

Stayed her again for 2 nights in October. As usual the place was spotless and good value for money. The owners have finished renovating the premise and it shows... Would recommend this place highly. Never disappoints...

The whole of the premises is very clean, the staff helpful and the rooms comfortable. This is excellent value for money. Not wheelchair friendly as there are steep stairs covering the 3 floors but no complaints. breakfast is great but ends very early at 8am during the week.

Very friendly, efficient and pleasant staff, especially the house manager 😊 Clean and quiet. Comfortable beds and good cooked - to - order breakfast (service closed at 8am weekdays 9 weekend, too early for holiday-makers!) All in all a good stay.

Cozy place, with very nice people. Also, the location is ideal to explore the city of Southampton because it's very close to the city center and you really do get what you've paid for having in consideration that is not expensive. I consider myself a very happy costumer.

For the price you pay to stay here you get a great location, a very clean and comfortable room, a hearty breakfast and a super friendly welcome from Noopin, the lovely lady who looks after the place. I'd have no hesitation in recommending if you're after a great value room for the night.
