A nice and comfortable guest house with all facilities, plus a library of books to peruse. The breakfast was very good and the owner was very hospitable. I would definitely stay again. Because I was in a strange location I could hear traffic late at night but overall I slept well.

stressful time, hubby in hospital seriously ill, it was like going home each evening. I have stayed twice in the last four months, each time found it welcoming, spotlessly clean, and breakfast wonderful. Only ten minutes walk from the hospital, two minutes from shops and buses to town centre.

My husband was in Southampton General for surgery and I found this b & b to be a haven to return to after a stressful time at the hospital. The breakfast was excellent and so well cooked. Denise was a very pleasant landlady and it was lovely to have somewhere to retreat to each evening. I would highly recommend this...

When I got there the owner wanred upfront payment. She asked if I wanted a cooked breakfast in the morning and if I wanted a sausage then I would need to let her know then. The only coffee for breakfast was instant. She showed me my room and said I should only use one of the made up beds in...

I stayed at Brunswick Lodge from 11.06.2013 to 21.06.2013 and I am sorry I couldn't add a review earlier. Firstly, I must thank to Denise & Roger Barrett for their extremely loving hospitality during my ten days stay with them. I felt like I am staying with my grand parents and felt really sad when I said goodbye to them...

Booked this guest house while my husband was in Southampton General Hospital for an operation. It was an excellent choice, within walking distance of the hospital. The ensute room was very pleasant, well equipped and spotlessly clean and the owner, Karen, made us very welcome and was very helpful.

Fantastic B+B. Good sized rooms and spotlessly clean. Nothing is too much trouble and Denise the owner is charming and helpful. 5 mins away from the Spire Hospital made my early check in at the Spire very straightforward.

My mother and I stayed here for a duration of 6 nights and found it delightful. The room was spacious and cleaned everyday, breakfast was cooked to order and very nice. The landlady was extremely charming, friendly and welcoming. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here.
