Like some other reviews point out it is a given that the decor is a bit dated and the place could do with a face lift but I think that is acknowledged by the owners in the rates they charge. Besides any shortcomings in decor is more that compensated for by the friendly staff whether they be reception, breakfast or...

Stayed for only 1 night and was pretty central to everything. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was nice with a enormous bed but quite a small room but had everything in it you needed. We had breakfast and that was very good with cereal toast and full english. The whole place could do with a make over...

I have to admit, I booked a room here, then looked at the trip advisor average rating and reviews and wondered what i'd let myself in for. However, what you MUST remember is that this hotel is very very cheap. It could charge its room price for location alone! I just can't understand why people are paying a mere £50...

Thank you for a lovely stay. Hotel was a little dated but what do you expect - we didn't come expecting the feel of the jury's or travel lodge - just needed a base to sleep while we had a couple of days enjoying the city. Great location 2 mins walk from west quay and all the restaurants and bars....

This hotel is situated in the perfect place - 15 mins to trainstation / few mins to shopping centre , loads of restaurants . The room was small but very comfortable . Staff was helpful and gave us everything we asked for. We both enjoyed our stay.

Everything you need was there TV,tea, coffee, iron, toiletries and a fan ,no hairdryer but available at reception. Staff at check in very friendly, free wifi was poor, car park small and always full. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment. I found the toilet...

We arrived in Southampton around midday, and it was no trouble for us to park up and leave our bags at the hotel, while we went off and did some shopping. I had booked a Cosy Double for our stay, but when we checked in, we had been upgraded to a lovely big room with two double beds in it!...
