Rosie and Bill do a fine job here of running a great place to stay near Hereford city centre. Very nice room, with excellent en-suite. Breakfast was lovely, especially the fruit salads (they do full Eng too!). Afternoon tea in the garden when we arrived was a nice touch. The house is situated in an up-market and very quiet area,...

Just returned from wonderful stay with Rosie and Bill at Somerville House. A tray of tea served in the pretty garden on arrival was most welcome. Our rooms were spacious, stylish and spotless, with plentiful fluffy white towels, showergel and shampoo. The beds themselves were irresistibly comfortable - only the thought of the excellent breakfast (and fantastic nearby biking roads...

We had the smallest double room for three nights, and that was great. The room was fantastically clean, very neat, and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent - all freshly made at the time of ordering, and yet still efficiently provided. And they coped with the Coeliac-disease sufferer (gluten free) in the family perfectly. The comfortable sitting room is open to...

Pat and I have stayed at Hotels and B&Bs in the US and UK, ranging from the Hilton family and the Best Western range, to B&Bs in the Outer Hebrides.and we can honestly say that Bill and Rosie provide the warmest welcome we have found anywhere. We usually have a top-of-the-range room which excells anything we have stayed in elsewhere....

Dear Mandy, Thank you for your review. Am a bit nonplussed by your comment - I do apologise for the impression you received. I shall have to watch my 'disapproving' face in the future! Your review certainly shows how important first impressions are. By the way, I am a great fan of the young woman who booked you in, who...

First class guest house, made very welcome by the hosts, just spent two nights there. Wonderful breakfasts ( catering for vegetarians as well), also a great large garden for relaxing, Would definitely stay again, if we are in that area. Within easy reach of Hereford city centre.

We spent five nights at Somerville during our stay in Hereford and enjoyed our stay very much. We had a lovely room overlooking the beautiful garden where we sat one afternoon to relax after a busy day. The breakfasts are superb and the B&B is an easy walk to the city center and the train station. Bill, Rosie and their...
