We arrived to our choice of drink. The room was to the side as you walk in and is someone's home. The hosts were chatty, but it is very clear you keep to your room. There is a reason there's no breakfast I suspect. We enjoyed ourselves on our night out, the room was clean, the shower nice (if a...

We had a one night stay at this guest house for a function at the nearby Mayflower Place. Luxurious and comfortable, we had a room at the back overlooking the garden which was lovely. The room was all we could have asked for - tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed and a luxurious shower room. The little touches like the...

Great overnight stay here - really friendly and helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble. Stylish and very comfortable rooms - definitely will stay again. It was raining all weekend and we were able to borrow umbrellas - then come back to a warm room and soft bed.

Stylish guest house with lovely fittings and nice touches like toiletries and porridge in room etc. Very friendly and professional owner/manager. A few minutes walk from the centre of Hertford so a nice location. Parking is a little tight.

This 4 star hotel, tucked into a private road within easy walking distance of the city centre is a real surprise. There are all the advantages of a high quality hotel room, together with a feel of staying as a guest in a family home. Everything is elegant and high- quality, particularly the beautifully equipped en suite bathroom with a...

We were greeted by Anne who was very friendly also helped us with our luggage. The room was very nice, no wardrobe, a hook on the wall on which to hang clothes. Complimentary wine very nice. Very comfy bed. I didn't like the hammam style towels. The guest house is well located with 5 mins walk into town. We walked...

This was an unexpectedly lovely accommodation. The room as well appointed even with extra touches of little boos in the room to read and welcome bottles of water wine and tea selection. No breakfast provided but we were treated to little breakfast pots in the room. It's literally a house a lovely one as well and the host was very...

I booked a room at Mulberry House for the weekend of a wedding in Hertford, primarily because the hotel where the wedding party was staying was booked up. In hindsight, I made the perfect choice! The rooms are well-appointed and cosy, with plenty of space for hanging clothes, and a nice collection of books. The bed was very comfy and...

I recently stayed here for one night and was very pleased with my choice. The room was very well decorated and included a good range of amenities. The free use of designer perfumes was a welcome treat. The memory foam mattress was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very neat and well appointed. Special mention must be made for the...
