Great pub , lovely food (especially Friday best fish and chips a round ) stayed for a night , the room was nice and clean , all the staff were friendly, great to stay as its within walking distance of Canterbury and buses near by . Will definitely be staying again

I was told by a family member to stay here.. On arrival I was amazingly Surprised.. Lovely and clean. The beds were really comfy Lovely touches as tampax in bathroom.. Great for us women... Very clean.. Breakfast was delicious.. And staff really friendly... And at a real great price too!

Stayed here for 2 nights with my dad at the weekend. Conveniently located close to shops etc. Mark the owner is a gentleman, an absolute pleasure to deal with. The breakfast and dinner was top notch both days we were there. Lovely place for a few drinks. Got chatting to the regulars who were really friendly. Nice beer garden out...

Stayed B&B with my husband for 4 nights in mid May. This is a wonderful traditional pub with so much to enjoy. Went there today for Sunday dinner. All I can say is excellent. Polite staff, good service and the food was superb. We will definately go back again. Made our family Easter very enjoyable. Would recomend a visit.

Came here for a Sunday roast with my partner and it was absolutely delicious!! Different cook, different menu! Proper pub grub at very good prices! I recommend everyone to go and try it for themselves! I will definitely be returning! See you soon.

Went back to the Kings head after working away for 6 months to find the place had been taken over. So myself and friends went in to see if much had changed and I must say It wasn't pleasant... The appearance of staff was unacceptable for serving to the public and as for the landlord ! Really.... Scruffy appearance and...

What has happened to this place? It used to be a great place to spend an evening having a decent drink in a convivial setting. The other Friday night when we were there, one end of the place was like a children's play area with young teens all under drinking age taking over the dart board and generally making a...

Had a wake for my uncle on the 4th Jan 2016, excellent food and service. Our family and friends where made to feel very welcome by staff and the locals in the pub. We wish Mark and his team the very best for 2016 and will recommend to all family and friends.

Roms very comfortable and clean. Staffel and Owner can't do enough to Held you out. We where Made to feeling very welcome and it was like Leasing good friend when we left. We will definatly come back next year. The food was very exellent quality. Would recommend this place to anyone!
