Lovely warm welcome with pleasant polite staff, lovely atmosphere with log fire, interesting menu, warm comfy room (steak could be a bit better quality, not the chef!) a great location in the heart of the city, breakfast was top quality and plenty of choice and very good value for money would definitely stay again

Stayed for just one night a longer stay would of been lovely. Room very comfortable everything you needed in the room, tea coffee hot chocolate, biscuits and toiletries. Only negative was that the bathroom ceiling needed a lick of paint. Would definitely stay again.

This was our second stay in The Millers Arms and once again it met and surpassed our expectations! It is fantastic value for money and its recent refurbishment was obviously worth every penny. Our room ( Millers) was spacious, spotlessly clean with crisp white bed linen and a huge comfortable bed. The slipper bath in the panelled bathroom was a...

Whether it be the train station the shops, car parking or the Marlowe theatre none are more than five minutes walk away. The room was spotlessly clean and we loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. breakfast, well, fantastic, loads of choices "proper" bread toast, I can't speak highly enough of it. The...

I'm updating my review of a year and a half ago having stayed for a couple of days for my daughter's graduation. It was very good before but faultless this time round. The rooms were nicely furnished and very comfortable, without any of the bar noise other guests have mentioned. The food was fantastic, in particular the breakfast, plus the...

Such a great location, you can park the car in public car park (£6 permit per day) & just walk everywhere . All very clean, food is delicious, especially the breakfast. Staff were really lovely, very friendly. There is a bit of noise from the pub, but I would definitely go back again.

I was visiting Canterbury to see a production of Hair! at the Marlowe Theatre. At first I had booked in at the local Premier Inn (I normally use the Premier Inns when I stay away). However another friend who was going to the show found this lovely inn a stone's throw from the theatre, so it seemed a good idea...

Stayed here on a business trip, really lovely inn and warm welcome, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Great location in the city centre - I could see the cathedral from my room window. Room was very clean and recently decorated, very homely. I had a tasty meal in the pub next to the open log fire, breakfast...

Booked last minute & was pleasantly surprised we managed to find somewhere so close to the city centre at such short notice. The cathedral is only about 5 - 10 minutes walk through the lovely lanes of Canterbury. The pub/hotel was also a pleasant surprise. Recently refurbished throughout with a lovely good size room & bathroom with bath & shower....

We stayed for one night and can highly recommend. The welcome was warm, the rooms were modern and clean. Breakfast was high quality and delicious especially the bacon and avocado on sour dough toast with poached egg. Fantastic location too.
