We had a lovely short stay at Yorke Lodge. It is a beautiful property, thoughtfully furnished and impeccably maintained. Rooms were spotless, and very comfortable. Little touches - tea, cookies, candy, bottled water, books on the nightstand; very much appreciated. Breakfast was excellent, with great variety, if maybe a little early, but no complaints. It would be lovely if there...

Thank you for posting such a positive review. But you are absolutely right we do need an open seating area for guests to relax and unwind. We have recently commenced a big expansion plan. We are building a huge glass conservatory which will house the breakfast room, leading directly out to our large private garden. This will free up a...

Well run B&B in easy walking distance to Canterbury City centre (app. 10 minutes). Parking spaces available. Vicky (B&B owner) is very friendly and a wonderful host, bookings are handled quite flexible. Rooms are well furnished and maintained. Good breakfast. We stay at this B&B on a regular Basis - it feels like home and quite often just like heaven.!

Lovely welcome from the friendly owner. Good sized, comfortable bedroom with everything you need. The breakfast had plenty of choice with cereals and a well cooked full English. The lodge is just a w0 minutes stroll to the city where there is plenty to see and a wide variety of places to eat and drink.

Such a lovely lovely room (I was upgraded from a single to a double) Beautifully clean and exceptionally luxurious - particularly in comparison to a hotel I stayed at in Canterbury in September! Really looking forward to visiting again - close enough to Uni Campus to visit daughter more regularly! Very good value.

Very friendly owner - Vicky, who has given attention to minor details from the upkeep of the property to going out of the way to help their guest. You feel right at home. A Victorian House that has been modernised yet keeps its heritage that one can see in the decor and fixtures. Something that will always bring us back...

Great place to stay with beautiful furnishings and comfy bed. The location was excellent for visiting Canterbury, especially if you did not have a car. The hostess, Vicky was great, serving wonderful breakfasts.

Vicky, the owner is super welcoming and very helpful. The house is well located, near the center and has a small parking. The English breakfast is good and not greasy. Without a doubt, we do not regret our choice and there would again step during a visit to the region. A great 'Hello' to the charming Vicky. One regret: not...

We are a family of four and this is one of the best places we've stayed in. The owner was very welcoming and nice. The building has lots of character and is located near to the city centre. Our room was lovely, clean, with lots of thoughtful touches and style. It's so nice (and rare) when a place gets everything...
