The staff were extremely friendly and very very helpful. Within feet of the Cathedral and such a great view of the Cathedral from the room. Amazing breakfast and the rooms are very comfortable and cozy. Very inexpensive for such a great location. Highly recommended.

the rooms overlook Canterbury Cathedral, and are only a few yards from it.Also whilst you are staying there you have free access to the Cathedral, which is amazing place to visit. The rooms are excellent. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a wide choice of food for breakfast. I booked the parking before hand, and we...

The reception staff are warm and friendly and make you feel at home immediately. The location was ideal for us as we were attending a study day. Parking worked well for us as the hotel can sell a 24 hr pass for local city car parking. (pre-booked parking within the precinct only lasts for as long as your stay in...

The Lodge is located within the Cathedral Close creating an almost medieval experience with all mod cons. We stayed here the first two nights after a trans Atlantic flight and found quiet, welcoming accommodation. Breakfast was cooked to order. There are several restaurants just outside the gate for lunch and dinner.

I've booked 2 room with cathedral view. Every time, you will feel calm and peace when you look at the cathedral. There are many books for you to read in the library. Very nice and decent breakfast. The receptionists are also very very helpful and they speedy reply emails.

we spent easter weekend in the cathedral lodge .. the place is quiet, not very glamorous , but extremely well located . By being in the grounds you get entrance to the cathedral and parking at a very reasonable rate ... good breakfast, very warm and cosy rooms . Because it's so central you're at walking distance to the town...

Stayed here for the easter weekend and loved it. We had a room in the Burgate and it was spacious well presented and had everything you needed for a weekend break . The only downside but not a problem with us was it was two floors up so you need to be able bodied to stay in the Burgate. We...
