Hidden within the Cathedral precinct, this is a lovely place to stay. All the staff are really friendly and positive. The room was stylish and had everything that you would need. The breakfast had a really good continental spread, and the English was really nice- even had beans! Top tip would be to book parking within the precinct, however parking...

The hotel is in Canterbury Cathedral grounds and so the views and walks around are amazing. The range of items for breakfast puts many larger hotels to shame. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The rooms are well appointed, spacious and clean. TV and wi- fi are provided as unusually but helpfully an ironing board. Overall it's a great...

Stayed for 1 night for my daughters graduation from Canterbury Christchurch University. The Lodge is in the grounds of the Cathedral. Rooms are relatively small but have everything you need for a few nights right in the centre of the city. Some of the best staff I have encountered in a hotel, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend

So after staying at many hotels for both work and pleasure, it was a surprise to me to find that this lovely hotel is in the protected grounds of the 'Mother' church and as such there can be very few safer locations any where in the country! The building is quite a contrast to its surroundings, however it somehow works....

We stayed for the second time last Sunday night and it was absolutely brilliant once again. Concierge/Night Porter Tom was charming and genuine. He greeted us late at night and after a very long day with the warmest friendliest greeting imaginable. Nothing was a problem. The rooms was wonderful and the breakfast was out of this world. Everyone who works...

I'd never been to Canterbury so this hotel/conference centre was the ideal place to stay. It is within the cathedral precinct so it is very quiet. My room was very clean and quite spacious though it did not have a view of the cathedral. The staff were very helpful. The hotel has a garden which was very pleasant for breakfast...

This hotel is situated right next to the Cathedral. It is convenient if you want to visit the Cathedral (yes, free entry to Cathedral too) and the town. Our room (believe most of the rooms) has a close cathedral view, which is stunning. The room is normal in size and clean. However, the bathroom is smaller than expected. Service was...
