Met some family members unexpectedly this afternoon. We had a great time. Fabulous cheese board. Great music. Can't wait to be there again next week for a family birthday. Always made so welcome. Food to die for. Music for all tastes. Don't leave it too long before you visit

We had a very enjoyable overnight stay here . We are on the restaurant and both had the venison burgers with Stilton sauce , delicious ! . The bedroom was small but very comfortable with everything you could possibly need

We booked this for an overnight at the end of walking from Canterbury (along the Via Francigena, the pilgrim's path to Rome which mostly follows the North Downs Way on this stage) and so were craving a clean room with a comfortable bed, and that is what we got. We arrived about 5:30pm and were shown to our room upstairs....

Joined friends for a birthday meal & everything about Blakes was fantastic. The food, the service & entertainment. There is live music every Friday evening & Sunday afternoon with either a guitar soloist or a duo so the music isn't too deafening. Everything makes for a lovely chilled out atmosphere.

We chose Blake's because we got a late start on our holiday to the UK. We were warmly met and shown our room. The room was clean and organized. It's a bit awkward getting in to the room because of the door to the stairwell. Still, no worries. We walked around Dover for a awhile and returned to Blake's for...

We spent two nights here in August of 2014 and had a wonderful time. The hotel is located on Castle street with an excellent view of Dover Castle. The hotel is only about three blocks from the Dover Museum which is a must see attraction when visiting Dover. The Museum contains an old Roman boat which was discovered when workers...

Charged £320 for 2 rooms for 2 nights. Rooms were small, dirty, very hot. No Air conditioning, very small showers could barley get in. Very old fashioned furniture, may have looked nice in 1965. Booked this because of the images and reviews which are clearly made up. Disgusting hovel, will never stay again or recommend this hotel to anyone. A...

I love this place, right in heart of Dover, just minutes from docks, seaside and night life. We come to Dover about twice a year from The USA and wouldn't think of going to a cookie cutter place. Blake's has a beautiful cellar bar, a great menu, comfortable accommodation and the best staff you could ever meet. Highly recommend
