I stayed here for a weekend jazz festival in Ramsgate. The room was clean with tea and coffee making facilities, also a television. The shower was small but worked well. It is an old building so the spiral stairs and floorboards are a bit creaky. There is no food served , but there are two cafe close by. The pub... More

We were attracted to this hotel because we could take our dog. Our room was very spacious with 4 beds (although we only needed 3), clean and tidy with a very good bathroom. There was no food available, but there are several cafes nearby and it's a 10 or 15 minute walk into Ramsgate where there are plenty of places... More

Nice, small hotel, also a great pub. The room was a good size with a nice bathroom and great towels. Very nice breakfast! Good service. Close to bus stop, just few minutes from the centre of Broadstairs. Great town for long walks, nice restaurants...

The taps on the sink in the bathroom was loose, the panel behind the toilet which held the thing where you flush the toilet was loose, the toilet seat was loose, the shower room was dirty (not the glass door into the shower), but it was working. One thing that was not loose was the window.... The floors were sloping,... More

Clean room with Wi-fi and decent beds and shower. Ideal for a function we were attending at the Churchill Tavern. This is a community pub not a hotel and this should be made clear. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel De Ville is a Public House and Hotel. We have 9 rooms, all twin with en suite except for one single room. we have 2 rooms that are big enough to make family rooms with 2 put up beds. Their are 5 rooms upstairs and 4 downstairs. The rooms are clean, comfy and tidy. The top rooms with sea views. There are 2 floors up, my flat 1st floor and the rooms on 2nd floor. Breakfast is £5 a head extra, and (as i cook enough for me too!) is hearty and tasty. The pub is a friendly , busy place and we have live music on once a week. There are plenty of restaurants in the near vicinity. Some cheaper ones and some expensive ones if you want that little bit more!We are a ten minute walk from the town and the same to the Royal Harbour. there is a five minute walk to the seafront/beach which is straight down the road.we have people stay here for a few weeks sometimes an if you ask, you are more than welcome to use our fridge and microwave , or even get a take away and use our plates and cuttlery and eat it in our breakfast room.My wife and i have only had the place nearly a year, and have made some big changes. ... more   less
