We booked a room for 1 night whilst visiting family, the room was very small but so quirky, and had a 4 poster bed, it was spotless and comfortable with fantastic views across the harbour. Was lovely laying in bed looking at the night time view and sitting on the balcony in the morning with a coffee. Love the lounge...

Stayed here with my mother and 2 children the night before my wedding. The rooms were really comfortable and clean and done up to a good standard. The building was undergoing some refurbishment but it was unobtrusive. There is a communal lounge with a fireplace, books and magazines, record player and a small bar, felt really warm and cosy, especially...

I booked a room through expedia.com. showing a picture of the room. on entering and booking in at the hotel,we were told, we were put in a different building...?..were then escorted down the road to a house with no lounge or bar just doors with numbers , following him up six flights of stairs,he opened the door to the smallest...

Booked sea view ( why wouldn't you if you're visiting the seaside) though the room was small the views and food and staff more than made up for it. Breakfast was a real treat, every palate catered for. Didn't have time to have dinner in the restaurant and after having the breakfast I'm guessing all the dinner reviews are spot...

I really liked this hotel. It is well located overlooking Ramsgate Harbour. The hotel is several connected townhouses, with corridors and steps - very different to a bland faceless chain hotel. On walking into the small reception the manager greeted me by name (I had booked, he wasn't clairvoyant) then showed me personally to my room. It was small, but...

Hotel is nice, staff very friendly. Lots of effort gone into making the downstairs look great. Our room was a bit tired and in real need of sprucing up but generally clean and can't fault our stay while in the hotel at all. Would we go back? No. Sadly the parking situation is absolutely atrocious. Every day we had to...

Our room was a "cabin room" on the 1st floor which we knew from other reviews would be small but had a balcony with great views over the harbour. The weather was good enough to allow us to sit on the balcony and enjoy a glass of wine. Dinner was in the Empire restaurant downstairs and was excellent with a...

Our club has been using the Royal Harbour Hotel as our base for our annual hockey weekend for over 10 years. The hotel has great charm and is in a fantastic location, close to the lovely Ramsgate harbour but far enough away not to be bothered by any of the late closing bars. Over the years the area around has...

I guess if you want a view, you have to climb for it but was suprised not to be in the main hotel but 'up the road' and the amount of stairs we had to climb to get to our room! Thankfully we are fit and healthy! No wonder the Manager was pleased when we said we did not need...

Having to stay in Ramsgate a lot at the moment as my poor old dad is in the brilliant local hospice. We were unable to get into the local Travelodge so gave this place a try. We found the hotel staff really good and helpful and the hotel is cozy and quirky! Great views over the harbour and close to...
