I suppose the two best things about this place are the people and the varied artwork. I feel some of the reviews here made it look a lot better than it actually is. This is a very old building and there is nothing 'purpose built' about it. Rooms are very small, oddly shaped and quirky. Beds go where they fit,...

We had a very nice stay here. The rooms are very small, but comfortable and charming. There are a few comfortable lounges on the ground floor, which are great places to chill out and meet fellow guests. The dining room is spacious and the food very good. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The town centre is only five...

This is a lovely little hotel in Margate, full of nice touches. The rooms are tastefully furnished, comfy bed and tea/ coffee facilities, and the hotel itself has a nice lounge with games, newspapers and a record player - with a substantial breakfast. For us, it was a nice chilled night away from London, next to the sea!

We had stayed at this hotel once before so were confident when booking again this year. Please check out the photos, they were taken the morning after a sleepless night when I removed the ‘pristine white outer covers’. Room 17. See photos below. We invited the manager David up to see the bed and he hardly spoke, firstly I assumed...

Hello...HANDS UP! EMBARRASSED!.....this looks pretty bad and I am really sorry again that this happened...I know that David did all he could on the day...refunded your night's stay of £43.75 and then telephoned you later to apologise again...but these red wine stains do look dreadful and in hind site of course we should have done better..our pillows and linen are...

Good location with good restaurant close by (the Bon Appetit) and good pub with music nearby in the other direction (Churchill Tavern). Nice easy walk to Pegwell Bay ( about 3 miles). Ramsgate centre about 10 minutes walk and not so nice although some of the pubs looked inviting. Shops uninspiring. Very welcoming with real fires in two of the...

Very quirky little seaside town hotel. Stayed in the Royal harbour suite. Great views over the harbour. Balcony floor is made out of wood, felt a touch fragile so probably not a good idea to bounce on it. Room had great touches like four poster bed and speakers in the ceiling of the bathroom so you can listen to the...

We stayed for a night in February - it was fully booked! The staff were friendly and helpful, the location is ideal, right on the harbour - far enough away from the main part of town, but only a 10 minute walk. The breakfast was good, catering for vegetarians, the common areas were warm and inviting and the bed was...

Cabin double room overlooking the picturesque harbour and our children were in a twin room at the rear of the property on the same floor. Newly refurbished bedrooms with spotlessly clean shower rooms. Small double room but cosy and comfortable bed. We especially enjoyed the sitting room with "honesty bar", delightful fire place and old record player with some great...

This hotel is lovely for a short break. The staff are wonderful, the breakfast is very good, the cheese and biscuits in the evening is a great touch and the honesty bar is well stocked. I would happily stay at this hotel every time i visit Ramsgate. It is by far the nicest hotel i have stayed at in Ramsgate...

Fantastic location right on harbour front and the view was great. It's a hotel with lots of character, so not your boring Travelodge down the road. Parking might be an issue at times but you'll always find a spot somewhere. If the hotel is good enough for Danny Dyer it's good enough for me!!
